Hello Project Girls blog about about the Earthquake
Many of the Hello Project girls have blogged after the earthquake. They've confirmed that they and their families are safe, and what they're doing to help the efforts.
To everyone who’s been worried about me, I’m all right.
Berryz members and staff are also safe.
Even now the aftershocks continue, and it’s a situation you just can’t prepare for.
It’s not just naturally being scared, but it’s also something I haven’t been able to comprehend.
The things I can do
and I’ve frantically tried to stay calm and think about
If you’ll allow me to post some related sites.
This is a page on Google which summarizes disaster information
And a page where an earthquake incident emergency manual is summarized.
I guess it’s just a small thing, but I’ll do what I can with all my might
And if we gather together everyone’s strength, it’ll become a large force
What can I do?
For now, we can save energy.
I’m watching the news and such, but it’s not setting in.
There is also an Ameba group where you can leave comments for those in affected areas.
Somehow, we won’t lose!!!
Note: I think this is the ameba group Aichan is referring to:
Amebaグルっぽ 「東北地方太平洋沖地震情報共有グルっぽ」 (Ameba Group “North-Eastern Pacific Ocean region earthquake information sharing group”)
Good evening, it is Yuuka.
Today too, I spent
the whole day at home.
Every channel on TV has the same content
Japan doesn’t seem like Japan…
For a kid like Yuuka to be able to do something
I thought I could only just conserve electricity but
But, thinking that there must be other things I can do
I went searching for various ways to help out!
Even though Yuuka completely lacks the ability to take action,
and like, I don’t fully understand
how the internet is structured
I got an idea from my Mama,
to set up a fundraising drive online!
Probably the amount of fundraising that Yuuka can do
would not amount to very much but
if everyone, under that same feeling,
can work together bit by bit
when we can all unite
then I think we can put that to benefit lots of people!
Up until now, I thought
this problem was something that was unrelated to me…
but, then I became aware
that it has become like this!
Now is the time to help each other!
Yuuka donated here!*
I’ll be thinking about if there isn’t something else that I can do.
If there is something,
please tell me!!
I’ll pray that the victims can return to their peaceful lives even if just one day sooner.
*Note: the link that Yuuka posted is redirecting back to Japanese Yahoo. If you would like to donate and help the victims of this event, I know there is a direct link to the Japanese Red Cross via Google here:
Most of the girls blogged about conserving energy, so I included only the posts that involved donating. All the posts can be found translated at the source.
