This week, B'z have reached another milestone by scoring their 45th consecutive no.1 single with "Don't Wanna Lie." They have now extended three of their multiple records:
- Most no.1 singles: 45
- Most consecutive no.1 singles (not including since debut): 45
- Most singles sold: 35.2 million
"Don't Wanna Lie" is the theme song to the popular Detective Conan movie currently playing in theaters, while the B-side song, "Homebound" is currently being used as the ending theme to the TBS show, "NEWS23X".
In the albums chart, Shoujo Jidai achieved their first no.1 with their debut Japanese album, "GIRLS' GENERATION." This is also the best first week album sales among foreign artists.
