Oricon used to poll around 400 of its members for NINKI ratings, but since some popular artists have had NINKI exceeding 500, we can only assume that Oricon has extended the polling to around 600/700 people now.

That's why I'm shocked when her previous single doing badly. I wonder what happened. I know she's more an album seller but #5 position is pretty bad in my opinion. Is her losing her princess hair making her losing the appeal too?

she was at 5th but selling almost the amount she always sells first week with most of her singles...that's what it means being a digital queen...30k is her standard first week, and her highest first week so far is only 41k (Kimitte), and that song will be in this album...Distance sold almost around if and Aitakute Aitakute, Esperanze sells more than Best Friend...it's normal sales for her...

Yeah, you are right. It's just I thought her single sales going to improve since her album is so well loved last year -- not for #1 position at least #2/#3. But I think this album gonna sell a lot too considering If and Kimi tte in it. :)

people prefer getting her singles digital (also as ringtones for example), that's why her physical sales of singles aren't that strong. that's not really uncommon for japanese r&b singers though.

Yeah, she's like JUJU who sale more digitally than physical. I just thought her single sales will improve after her album success but it basically go down a little with Esperanza.

you also have to consider that esperanza got a lot of criticism for being the worst single of the era and also being too long and boring.

FAITOOO!!! Kinda sad seeing w-inds' best albums going 2 and 3 but it's hard to beat Kana. I'm actually foreseeing a huge margin between her album (if it reaches #1) and the rests on the list.

yeah I don't think w-inds' best albums can surpass 100k, so there will definitely be a big gap between #1 and the rest...and actually I can see Superfly taking #2 in her 2nd week instead of w-inds...

yeah, even though the NINKI is not a predictive tool, their big differences clearly show who will be no.1...that's too big of an interest to overcome by those lower-ranked than them...

I refuse to believe that SHINEE will outsell AAA.

No Cry No More is not AAA's best...but solid enough to still beat out whatt SHINEE's DEBUT?! Cause if AAA reallly sells less than them...that'll be really kinda pathetic on AAA's part.

And also, SHINEE if you outsell AAA, I promise I'll hate you for life. *shot*

I'd hate for it to happen too, but I can see that happening...tbh I think out of all Kpop male groups debuting in Japan, SHINee are the most likely to have the most success with their debut...whatever happens after that, that depends on whether they can keep Japan interested...

well to be quite honest... AAA doesn't really have that huge of a fanbase. Sure they have both guys and gurls in a group but they only appeal to a certain demography... that aside, while there may be an increase in their fanbase (and people would left), it doesn't mean that everyone would be buying their single *cough* piracy *cough*

I think I will still be happy if they can maintain their sales ... (even tho i didn't buy this single in particular)
