Marshmallow 3D chosen for Paradise TV's "Erotics Save the Earth"

Later this month, adult AV idol group, Marshmallow 3D will take part Paradise TV's 24-hour telethon. The segment the group in particular will take part in is the groping segment. For 1,000 yen ($13) you will be able to grope their chests for a total of 5 times. This segment was also present at last year's event but with different AV idols.

Other events include but are not limited to the 'golden shower noodles' and 'Tekoki Jinja' (Handjob Temple). And yes, there's a serious side to all this. Condom use in Japan is plummeting, and full-blown AIDS cases are at an unprecedented high. With news of an untreatable gonorrhea strain reported recently, there's an increasing sense of the need to improve safe sex education here in Japan, and in the absence of decent educators, Japanese porn stars are taking some of the responsibility upon themselves. Hence 'Erotics Save the Earth', the porn star community's way of giving something back, raising a little cash for a cause that affects them directly. And all proceeds from the event goes towards this cause.

The event starts at 7pm on August 20th and ends at 8pm on August 21st.

THIS
Japan needs to realize they too can get AIDS because from what I have been told using condoms isn't very "popular" amongst the Japanese.

I`ve heard the same thing.

It's a sad day when AV gals have to educate men on using condoms, but good on them for doing something about it. Though it's not surprising a lot of people are condom stupid, I doubt there's much sex ed over in Japan.

There isn`t much education on it.

Compared to the West, people are generally programmed to believe that women aren`t supposed to really like having sex, which of course impacts the sexual relationships of men and women. Men think women don`t like it and women simply go along with it to please them (so they tend to not really ask what their partner likes, dislikes, and wants) and women think that asking for certain things or taking the lead automatically makes them strange and perverse (so they`re less likely to say what they like and dislike and want their partner to do or allow them to do).

It`s a vicious cycleよ.

I don't know why but something about this sentence really bothers me . .

I try to reword the best I could from 'you can fondle their boobs' or 'grab their boobs for 1000 yen' that came from other sources.
lovelylaura003 12th-Aug-2011 10:37 pm (UTC)
sorry I didn't mean to criticise you :(

Just the word "grope" seems a bit IDK rape-y?
Probably just me though~
liime_arix 12th-Aug-2011 10:41 pm (UTC)
Oh know, I didn't think of it in a bad way. But I don't know how other way to put it that doesn't sound creepy/misogynist D=

liime_arix 12th-Aug-2011 10:34 pm (UTC)

cilsi 12th-Aug-2011 10:41 pm (UTC)
oooookay.

It's nice to hear that they are bringing awareness to this kind of thing. People really do need to be informed.

The events though seem to take some of the seriousness away from it though imo

the first girl reminds me of Hiroko of mihimaru gt :/

and that is good,I guess to raise awareness, especially about AIDS
kanbisenshi 13th-Aug-2011 12:07 am (UTC)
oh wow! that's really cool of them.
xanithofdragons 13th-Aug-2011 02:00 am (UTC)
I wonder if they have any songs.

I'm all for sex ed! (And a little worried about that gonorrhea strain, tbh.)
taylorniw 13th-Aug-2011 02:08 am (UTC)
For a group called Marshmallow 3D, they don't look very marshmallow-ey.

But um, hooray for a good cause, even if it's going to attract a ton of creeps.
baka_tenshi 13th-Aug-2011 02:52 am (UTC)
honestly, i'm just hoping the have a tight security in case creepers try anything.
very_pinku 13th-Aug-2011 03:00 am (UTC)
Well I think having cute AV stars teaching the importance of condoms and
being aware of sexual diseases would motivate people to want to protect themselves.

Sex should be something safe for everyone so it's nice that they're doing this.
Just the breasts part...um lol.
visionfactory1 13th-Aug-2011 03:33 am (UTC)
They are cosplaying Watarirouka Hashiritai! At first sight I thought they were the real ones!
moonlight_miles 13th-Aug-2011 03:35 am (UTC)
I don't know if I'd be able to stand there with a smile on my face while some stranger pays to grope me. But good on them for trying to educate because just the thought of untreatable gonorrhea makes my skin crawl.

Well, the abortion rate is high and a good portion of women are underweight which lessons the chances of the body being able to keep and sustain an embryo early on. For regular and overweight women, a good portion of pregnancies are naturally lost early on without the women even realizing that she had been pregnant, after all.

Marshmallow 3D?
Are they a new group or something lke sub-unit from Ebisu Muscats?
I wanna know the members please.
nova_usagi 14th-Aug-2011 08:40 am (UTC)
This is a lot better than nothing.

Proper sex ed and taking safe sex precautions is something Japanese seem kind of behind in, despite it being such a developed country and all that jazz. It`s been an issue since the early 90`s--Japanese acting like they can`t contract and spread AIDS and other STDs.

For couples in their 20s who`re marrying, currently 1/4 are shotgun weddings. Abortion is a common form of birth control; however, some girls purposely get pregnant and choose to keep it in order to pressure their boyfriends into marrying them. I`ve met some girls who totally faked it and pretended, got married, eventually got pregnant for real, and act like it was an innocent mistake.

I warn my Japanese guy friends and tell them to wrap their tools, because women who take the pill is a rarity, the pill is not 100% foolproof, rhythm is very untrustworthy, and contraceptives like the pill won`t protect them from STDs. I`ve even asked some if they have any STDs and they say they don`t, but it`s not like most of them get tested on a regular basis, so how would they know. The chics they sleep with don`t see OBGYNs or get tested, they just get a generic physical yearly which doesn`t seem to included a screening for STDs.
