Yamapi and Ryo withdraws from NEWS

Yamashita Tomohisa and Nishikido Ryo, members of the popular idolgroup NEWS announced today through their agency Johnny's that they are withdrawing from the group.

Yamashita will continue with his solo projects, Nishikido will continue as a member of Kanjani8. Koyama Keiichirou, Katou Shigeaki, Tegoshi Yuya and Masuda Takahisa will continue as NEWS, now a 4-member group.

Ryo is saying the reason he's leaving is that he's having schedule-conflicts by being in both K8 and NEWS and it's not working any more.

and Yamapi is talking about how he'll continue doing his best in his solo activities even though he's suspecting it'll be tough.

Koyama basically says that the 4 member NEWS will inherit the shoes of the earlier NEWS with it's 8 years history.

I had a feeling that this was gonna happen... NEWS was a great group, I liked many of their songs... I wonder if Tegomass will separate from them too as well and that Koyama and Shige will become actors like Toma? Makes me wonder about their future...
