Madame Tussauds Tokyo Unveils AKB48 Oshima Yuko Wax Figure



Today, AKB48 member Oshima Yuko unveiled a wax figure of herself at Madame Tussauds, Tokyo. Just like the rest of the other famous celebrities wax figures featured at Madame Tussauds, this was a exact replica of the idol where her measurements were taken back in July. To make it as realistic as possible, more than 150 places of the subject body would usually be measure and then production would take up to four months and cost around 19 million yen.

Madame Tussauds Tokyo exhibition had recently opened in 30 Sep 2011 at the Decks commercial complex in Tokyo’s Odaiba area, and it will continue until 4 Jan 2012. Seventeen wax figure are being displayed at the show, with another two more expected to join later. Another famous musician featured at the exhibition is Yoshiki Hayashi, leader of Japanese heavy metal band “X Japan”.

But I guess it's also because of who at tented the press conference ;)

I know that Yoshiki wasn't too happy about his wax figure shown before he knew it xD

Oh...i read about his tweets relate to this issue. He is kinda disappointed with it.
