I'm really happy with this single! My favorite B side is Together,forever... (Though the title reminds me strongly of a Ministry of Magic Wrock Song xD )
good songs they is and 80s feeling in them...i like utakata... but i really want them to change their style a little.. every album-single sound the same to me...
Because every would mean all of them from their first album until now. Heck, even comparing Time and Beautiful World, there's a difference. Sure, certain elements, like their use of actual brass instruments is there, but to me, they sound nothing alike.
Now, if you're comparing their last two albums, sure, there is a similarity, but they're only a year apart and pop music hasn't had any huge shifts in style since then.
of course not.. i cant compere their first aibums with their lastest... because their music back then had alot 90s elements that for me they dont really have alot nowadays... when i said they sound the same i meant that i want them do something really different from usual...even if will not be so successful.. because they havent done manny changes..i think you agree with me to that... i like when artist do changes...
they dont sound exacly the same(sorry my english are so bad i cant explain exactly what i want to say..) every artist group whatever has his oun sound..and thats good thats why when you hear their music you can understand that its them for the very begining of their songs... i like that but for the other hand for me this is a little boring... i like when artists change their music style.. and arashi in my opinion havent change their music style as they could do... thats why i said "every album-single sound the same to me"...the slyle of music not every particular song... but thats my opinion...
Have you listened to ALL of their songs? Have you listened to their old ones? Their songs are too many they're almost endless. There are times when I listen to one and go "Is this Arashi? O_o"
ok im not going to disagree with you everyone has his opinion this is mine... good or not..true or not that it is... of course i have listen old ones and if you see my upper comments you'll see i wrote that their news songs are really difreant from the old... but not in the point that i believe they did a big change...that dosen't meen that they need to change...because most times their songs are good...
hmm.. you must be referring to their single releases because yes they have a distinct "Arashi sound". However, if you go through all of Arashi's discography they actually has a very eclectic mix and most of it does not have that "Arashi sound" (although those aren't released as single.. urgh). They've done almost every music style there is. They've sang 70's disco back then and now they are turning back to 80's and 90's with their single. Their recent albums sounds 2000's.
At this point the only change would be if they incorporate bollywood or sing enka. Not saying its impossible for them to have another change but the thing is its not about "change". They are constantly trying different genre. The problem is they are too safe. Even they challenging new type of song J-storm wouldn't go all out and take risks. They don't push the envelope hard enough. They should push songs like "Attack It" or "Super Fresh" as singles imo.
yes they have try different styles in their albums but as you said in a safe state... for me and ONLY for me this is not "enough"... ok about style what i would like will be to follow a little more the music of today(european or american or whatever)not to coppy but to adapt in their music more... maybe this will not fit to their voices... and ofcourse jstorm wouldn't take that risk... ok i dont know... and in the end i dont really care...i like their music...if i dont we wouldn't write to each other right now..so it doesen't matter alot :P i dont try to disagree with noone, everyone has his opinion...
I like kienu omoi, almost cant recognize riida's voice there. Wanna be is pretty good. together forever and utakata sounds too 80ish thanks for sharing the links!
This single sounds like anime ending themes from the 80's and 90's. Not that I'm complaining because I like music like that, but it's a pretty big change from Mada Minu Sekai E
Did anyone else look at "Together, Forever" and thought of Rick Astley? I had this whole image in my head of Arashi dressed like him and singing to that song -_-'
I'm liking this single. I'm just happy at the thought of seeing more of them on music shows. It's been quite a while.
