Aya Ueto's agency responds to marriage rumour


On January 1, it was reported that actress Aya Ueto (26) and EXILE leader HIRO (42) are planning to get married in the spring.

According to Sponichi, Ueto has already revealed this news to her mother and close friends, as well as to her talent agency, Oscar Promotion. However, the agency responded to the rumours by denying being aware of any marriage plans. "We have not heard about any of this," a spokesperson said.

Ueto and Hiro are said to have first met when Ueto was 12 years old and taking dance lessons from Hiro prior to her debut. Their romance was reported in the summer of 2010 and despite appearing at many events since, Ueto has yet to deny or confirm the relationship.

this is the part that made me side-eye. srsly??? idgaf if the woman or man is older in any relationship but having a relationship with someone that already as an adult you watched grow up and mentored is creepy as hale. it might not be grooming but it's not alright and it's not ok.

I have similar feelings about such situations. Its certainly near grooming to me, though it might all depend on how much time was spent with them or if you offered your wisdom about romance.... ehhhh. creeps me out indeed. Either way, I believe nothing until its confirmed from the mouth of said person it concerns; aya herself.

You're right, she's never confirmed or denied this. If it isn't more than just the tabloid drivel I'm sure we'll be treated to a ~*beautiful*~ story of how they met and that will solidify or disprove our opinions.

mte, she went out with morita go for 8 years before going out with hiro. I wouldn't call that creepy since she's dating hiro at present at the age of 26 not when she's 12.

You are so far off the point right now that you are instead visiting Mars.

Obviously, I'm not saying that they were in a relationship at that time (to which the general consensus would be "OMGZ NOOOO" or w/e), but rather that a fully grown ADULT who was some sort of mentor etc to A CHILD later apparently ends up dating that child and having a presumably sexual relationship with them. It's about whether he influenced, supported, or encouraged their relationship because of this difference in power, status, and age. Did he JUST HAPPEN to teach her dance back in the day and now they're like "LOL WE'RE BOTH FAMOUS NOW ACKSHULLY WE SHOULD BANG?" There's a real difference. I'm just putting it in words you'll understand better :*~

Okay so O_O obviously there is not even a reason to do this conversation. Such things do happen by the way o-o. I dun think that at the time he saw her as nothing more but a child OBVIOUSLY he was also married LOL. Apparently the feelings developed later and this CAN happen o_o indeed i have seen it many times happen here, people falling in love with older people who they'd know since long ago. There is nothing wrong here >O< . HOWEVER This is beside the point. The agency has already declined this, aya has not confirmed any relationship and the rumors usually come out whenever either of them has a promotion and usually such rumors are supposed to be bad and their target is to "hit" the popularity of the people involved. Indeed. This is what I believe. I do see your point though. Your question is indeed of a matter that would concern most people. I do not accuse but , but at such a situation I doubt that it has any ground because these rumors are nothing but rumors and none of them have confirmed a thing . indeed

no. I was not off to Mars. I was also putting into words of what I was thinking when you had implied disgust that it is wrong for a mentor figure like HIRO to date and has sexual relationship with his ex student 14 years later. It was an implied respond.

14 years time gap honey. Growing up and changing times does take effect. HIRO today is no longer the Hiro of yesteryear. Same for Aya. The past is the past.
