With all the fame and promotions this year, I thought AKB48 would rank at least in top 5 @@ Gosh, the top 5 this year is so awesome!!
Congratz my Ayumi. She's fabulous and talented. And she stays on the 1st position for years! :)
antifools 15th-Jan-2012 10:39 am (UTC)
This is all time not only this year. So how can AKB in 6 years achieve what other artists achieve in more than a decade.
llamaswag 14th-Jan-2012 06:32 pm (UTC)
I don't see Gackt anywhere. Thank God.
abusedpancake 15th-Jan-2012 07:51 pm (UTC)
i think they didnt know if GACKT is -lately- a singer, a band or a group, lol XD

*jk*
but why *thank god*? you seem to be a fan..?
yunizhamasaki 14th-Jan-2012 06:35 pm (UTC)
Ayumi Hamasaki - Queen of Jpop.
Congratulation to the others. And WOW, the female artists sales more than male artists
queencleopatra 14th-Jan-2012 06:36 pm (UTC)
Come on AKB! Only like 3 or 4 more singles until they knock MM off their perch! (Literally, now they are like, birds and all)

Flawless list <3

Pleasantly surprised to see Kattun on the list, even if I'm not a fan.
taylorniw 14th-Jan-2012 06:44 pm (UTC)
Very typical and obvious list. But at the same time I'm glad Japan recognizes the difference between a band and a group because some people just cannot get that right for whatever reason.
rim1789 14th-Jan-2012 08:00 pm (UTC)
Offtopic, but your post made me realize that in my native language the difference between '' band'' and group doesn't exist. There is only a single word for both of them.
nansan_ogawa 14th-Jan-2012 06:47 pm (UTC)

eishastan 14th-Jan-2012 07:02 pm (UTC)
Yup only in singles, but still they need to release a few more singles and that should do it.
krzhope 14th-Jan-2012 06:49 pm (UTC)

They must be so rich. I wish I had that money, on the other hand idk what I would do w/it... Probably charity.
silsmile 14th-Jan-2012 08:10 pm (UTC)
I still can't get over how big the gap between the male solos and female solos is.
