I've eaten German pancakes and the person who cooked them insisted they were different than crepes, but they didn't tell me why.

He's a hardcore FFT fan who has put in hundreds of hours, he said, which between that and tales of him cooking is a turn-on, because I'm weird like that. He was amazed that I had never been to the bar before this year and once I had tried it, I had come back three straight weeks. "I must have done something right!" he said. I could only smile. I thought about asking if we could hang outside of the office, as it were, but then I could only think about what happened the last times I told I guy how I felt about him. The one non-Arama person I've talked about this who seems to care insists I go back next week and talk to him about it. I don't know how I'm going to work up to it. I can only see it ending in awkwardness and sadness (for me).
