Jin will be the commentator for the 54th Grammy Award for WOWWOW Live



Jin will be a commentator for the 54th Grammy Award Ceremony live  on WOWOW LIVE this coming Monday, Feb 13th at 9:30 in Japan (» on Sunday Feb 12th, in California). As an artist currently active in America, he’s going to comment from a studio set up in L.A.

WOWOW LIVE is Japanese paid TV channel. Grammy Awards live starts on 2/13 9:30 AM JST on WOWOW LIVE. (repeated at 10 PM JST)

13th is less than a week from 8/9th, when the news broke. Seriously, do people really think that letting Jin do this shows everyone that "look, no-one's giving a daaaaamn"?
Wtf, it's probably been decided for a while and they've been preparing for it, and on the 8/9th they realized that in just a few days they can't get another celebrity who's somewhat fluent in both English and Japanese to be a commentator for the show. To have Jin commenting on this isn't to support Jin, it's to save the show's own ass since they can't change it all of a sudden.
If it'd been out a month ago they could have tried with BENI or someone else who speaks English (I think she does anyway lol) since they may have at that time a few days unplanned in February, but now? Nope.
