When racism doesn't cut it anymore...you guessed it: a Jin post

The brilliant songwriter and all-around nice guy, Jin Akanishi is about to launch his new album, Japonicana. Some netizens have already gotten their hands on a digital copy and thus on the lyrics of his songs. One in particular is very interesting:

That's what she said - lyrics
edit: Please note that the lyrics can be triggering for people who have experienced sexual violation in any way. Also note that due to the heated discussions a lot of the comments will be triggering as well and none carry warning labels.

This tastes funny - That's what she said
My throat hurts - That's what she said
I feel so good - That's what she said
I need this
Chug it

I'm thirsty - That's what she said
I can't drink this - That's what she said
This is too much - That's what she said
It's huge - That's what she said
This tastes funny - That's what she said
My throat hurts - That's what she said
I feel so good - That's what she said
I need this
Chug it

Swallow swallow swallow swallow
Swallow swallow swallow swallow
Chug it
Swallow swallow swallow swallow
Swallow swallow swallow swallow

To the right, to the left, to the left, to the left
Down up down up down up down down up up
Down up down up down up down down up up

(repeat last 3 verses)

So what does it mean? Judge for yourself. The fact that Jin hasn't put one proper sentence in the entire song certainly leaves something for the imagination. It's hard not to think of date rape and misogynism when he uses such classy lines like "Slut + Bitch = Slutch", "I can't drink this", "This tastes funny". How much his fans want to support such a message remains to be seen. Japonicana comes out on March 6th and will be available on itunes and several amazon stores.

If you know the definition of respect, you won't defend this song. It's as simple as that.

You've never once attempted to explain your opinion. All you've done since your original post is whine about how persecuted you are because people don't agree with you. Does that deserve respect? You can have whatever opinion you want as long as you can BACK IT UP with logic, which you've never even attempted to do that in these comments. You keep hiding beind "But it's my /opinion/." So? What went into the formulation of that opinion? Why don't you explain to the people who are "attacking" you what validates your opinion and makes it worthy of respect? Can you do that?

I just want to encourage you to take time to question things and think things through so that you can explain where you're coming from when people question you rather than just whining because people dared to question you. You don't think that this is misogynistic or offensive. Why? "Because I just don't" or "Because that's my opinion" is a cop-out. Other people DO think that this is misogynistic and offensive. Why? "Because they're just haters" is a cop-out. Don't you think it will help your own position to understand the other side of the issue rather than just writing it off?
