Ayu releases album previews for Party Queen

 



Ayu has released snippets for every track off her upcoming 13th album, Party Queen dropping March 21. The album explained by her as being about a sad party queen and being about mixed emotions features song ranging from electro pop to musical numbers, showing an eclectic mix of Ayu's styles.

Already better than whole Love songs album.

Shake It♥ is fantastic, Return Road screams epicness, interludes are damn solid, the next LOVE and Eyes Smoke Magic are really interesting. And obviously the rest of tracks is good, just pointing out my favorites.

The preview of Party Queen sounds better than the radio rip? the next LOVE kinda reminds me of Pride (that's a good thing). excited to hear shake it, nanana, and return road in full.

i rly like the previews for "NaNaNa", "Letter", "Return Road", "Tell me why" and "the next LOVE", the rest is alright. "Serenade in A minor" sounds beautiful as well.

Curious what you mean by rockish songs cuz many of her strong songs are rock-flavored.

I mean those exactly, i was craving for something more pop or dance or something (even tough this album still has a lot of rockish songs though), since she has basically done ballads and pop rock songs since i don't even know how long, except for SLT and Sparkle for example.

To my surprise, tracks 05-09 actually sound really appealing. I wasn't expecting that many. If I liked "theatre" music I'd probably be in to 12 and 13 too, because they sound legit. It makes me wish she had chosen different singles to promote.

The previews make me like it better than Love Songs already.

A couple of the songs are just okay (a couple after taskebab) but the rest are full of greatness. Hope a cup of tea gets the Mirrorcle treatment. Loved that one!! Loved eyes smoke magic w/e it's called. Should have been full length songs ;_;

I don't think Ayu has the vocals to pull off next LOVE or Party Queen, but they are still awesome.

Great previews, there's variety but the ordering actually has a great flow. It's been a while since I got excited for her release.

Idk if i like it better than love songs tho, i need to hear more since love songs grew on me. I definitely LOVE it a lot more than RNRC....definitely!

Party Queen sounds better on the sample. Most of the songs were okay, I still dont like How Beautiful You Are and Call was kinda boring but everything else is exciting.

I was a bit worried after I found out the album title and after I saw the covers, BUT the previews are really awesome (well, I still don't like "How beautiful you are" and "Party queen", but maybe they will grow on me!).
