controversial blogger to release book about JE fandom

The popular Johnny's Entertainment internet blogger, Kamichan, is set to release his book about the the Johnny's Entertainment fandom very soon.

In a angry blog post on March 17th, Kamichan claims he will be writing a book about his experiences the JE fandom in response to his treatment as a male in a dominantly female fandom, specifically surrounding "the unlikely trials and tribulations of one man’s fantastic voyage into the female-dominated fandom-world of Japanese teenboy idols". The sudden announcement came when Kamichan's private information was suddenly posted on a internet meme.

Kamichan.com, which boasts almost 5 million hits, has not been without some controversy involving alleged pedophillic tendencies exhibited on the website. Kamichan, a German man allegedly in his late 30s who is openly gay, hosts the site where one may find pornographic stories of several underage idols, including those from Hey!Say! JUMP, and has stated "being a pedophile technically isn’t a crime. Molesting/abusing/raping a chld is, but just fantasizing about it isn’t."

The release date has yet to be announced.

I would like to read about guys in female dominated fandoms but not in underage fandoms. This would have had potential if it weren't for that.

Stalking personal info is definitely out of line, but that doesn't make writing smut about underaged people any less disgusting. Doesn't matter whether you're a 25 year old woman or a 40 year old man. It's wrong.

I personally don't read his blog outside of a few articles I've been linked to on google so I can't say anything. But if those stories really are there, then I can't see why anyone would support him.

Wondering about the "trials and tribulations" part... I don't think the fandom is gender discriminatory at all. I have guy friends who are part of the fandom and they are perfectly happy :)

I'm reading his blog, found his writings funny (don't get me wrong) when he reacts and criticizes, I love it. And yeah, looking forward to that book.

No, in religion, it's a sin. There's lots of sins that aren't crimes, and it's probably for the best cuz there's no way we could build that many prisons.

I remember I used to read his blog posts almost religiously when I was like 13. At the time I did find it odd that a 30 something man was so obsessed with kids half his age, but now thinking about it, it's the same as a 30 something woman posting her sexual fantasies about boys half her age. They're both creepy, but Kamichan only got that much beef cause he's a man. I feel bad about his personal information being leaked though. I don't get why people can't just leave other people they dislike It takes a lot more effort making someone's life miserable than pretending like they never existed in the first place.
