I always have to smile when she sings "Kaje"! XD
You can hear that she still has problems with the pronunciation, but I still think she did a good job! ^.^ The high note at the end was perfect! *.*

Her singing is fine, but that Japanese was even worse than Girls' Generation. I almost could not have made out the words had there been no subtitles. =(

this is what I don't really understand; from what little I know of her she is incredibly talented as a musician but recently I haven't seen her playing her guitar and instead has backup dancers?

She always had backup dancers though (except for MIA). The only times she's playing her guitar is when she's on a music show, and performing acoustic songs.

well her debut song was more on the serious side, but that didn't work. so, they went for the cutesy image, and that's what made her popular, honestly.

I love that high note she does. She only did it once during her Korean promotion and then did the other singing part during the rest of her promotion. Nice to see it let out again! ;D

Oh, IU. I love you and I love the song, but this performance was kinda lackluster. :/. Your pronunciation + accent is strange unique. The jazz version of Good Day is still the best imo.

JP version sounds nice, still can't believe it. Though, lol "kaje".

This perf was a lot less awesome than her Korean lives. Does Happy Music not have a good sound setup?
