Kis-My-Ft2 member embroiled in firey mole controversy

Kis-My-Ft2, who has recently hit #1 with their single, "SHE! HER! HER!" on the Oricon charts and dominated half of the Recochoku Chaku-uta top 10 with songs from their new album, is an unstoppable force these days. With the announcement of their new variety show, the boys are being labeled the "second SMAP" and it seems from here on out their exposure will only increase.

One member of the group, Nikaido Takashi, who may play a somewhat subdued position in the group, has recently been the topic of many fan discussions over a certain visual point.

"Frankly, there are questions arising about him having a fake mole. Beneath his eye there is a large "tear-mole" and many say it's a "sexy" or "amorous," charm point it seems like the mole is fake. Several years ago, the mole appeared suddenly, but because it seemed done with his own hands, depending on the day it looked darker or lighter, bigger or smaller, and sometimes it even disappeared. Fans are very bothered by this," said a Johnny's Entertainment reporter.

In photos and videos, sometimes skin is corrected to eliminate blemishes and freckles, and it's possible that the mole could have been erased through those methods, not he himself drawing on or forgetting to draw on his mole. But nonetheless, longtime Kisumai fans have decried the mole as being a "hindrance," and asking "Why would they do such a pointless thing?" Others have said "It doesn't suit him" and the mole is becoming extremely unpopular.

"They're doing it to up his business fortunes," "His face isn't special so they did it to add character," and other speculations have been flying about the reason behind the fake mole. Some are even going as far to say that the mole has been tattooed on recently, but at the end of the day we still do not know the truth behind it.

A "tear mole" (nakibokuro) is said to be a symbol of a person with "heavy emotions, and is tender-hearted" and other JE idols such as Takizawa of Tackey & Tsubasa, Nishikido Ryo of Kanjani8 and singer Fukuyama Masaharu also have the "tear-mole." And if one thinks about the amount of popular celebrities with it, it definitely could be something used to up one's charms. One has to wonder if Nikaido's fortunes will follow the same path.

haters are pressed they dont got a sexy nakibokuro tbh!

If we need to choose a second Smap, that's obviously Arashi.
Their carrier is a lot like KT, not at all Smap.

I should have said history. The whole waiting for debut and we are successful right away with the first releases-thing. Smap and Arashi wasn't like that at all. But calling them the second Smap is just not right, they need to wait at least 10 years to say something like this.
Still not hating on Kisumai.

If you say so.

Lol He/she wasn't even commenting on the age difference, but in the career similarities, God, girl, any more tense and you would have a break down.

The reason they called Arashi, "The next SMAP," was because of their similarity in career. They weren't as popular when they debuted, but as their identity shaped and came to light, they gained more recognition and now are some of the famous JE artists. It's not just it being about new or old. Therefore, they shouldn't be making such a broad statement about the group when they have yet to prove that they'll be able to hold such publicity and ranking their entire career.

By the way, since you feel it necessary to correct/poke fun at another person's mistake, let me correct you:

People called Arashi, "The second SMAP," way before 10 years into their career (Oops, "carrier").

I will never understand the rage that people express
[You can not "get rage".. That's impossible. Rage is an emotion.] when someone compares a new artist to an older one. It's a compliment, imo, to the older group.

It's a contradiction when you take it out of context. I'm saying it's not just about them being new or old.. It's about whether they've been through the similar hardships and the same growth that the other group(s) had. Being capable of holding your ranking is something all idols face, SMAP and Arashi groups alike. If they fall off the face of the planet because of some scandal, then they obviously weren't like Arashi or SMAP who make come-backs from it and don't let it affect their work too much. They have yet to face a major scandal since their debut. There's a difference between age, growth, and experiences.. Good try though.

Yeah, I did; just because you annoyed me. ^^ Trust me, it only took about 3 minutes. I've got all the time in the world. Imagine if you spent 10 seconds making your own corrections.

Just because it's right next to each other doesn't mean it's not taken out of context.. You have to include the points I made before. Wow, they make up a whole 2 lines of my post. By the way, if they made up 85% of my post, that would mean my post was 2 and half sentences long.. Which, it wasn't. Learn to do percentages if you're going to try use them.

It's funny, basically everyone in this post commented saying you sound pressed. Why don't you change the translation of another article to make your nii-chan seem more favorable, pressed stan?

Oh, and I explained how those two sentences go together already, so please just shut the fuck up unless you have a reasonable argument. ^_^

KAT-TUN: Breaking more records than Kisumai since forever.

And sorry to break it to you, but I'm a KAT-TUN and a Kisumai fan.. I loved when they back-danced at KT concerts and I like their singles, but there's a difference between a fan (me) and a stan (you). If I found a KAT-TUN fan sounding as pressed as you are in this post and who knowingly changed the translation of an article to shift the blame of their statements to someone else.. I'd be just as annoyed.

You are so ridiculous. It has nothing to do with singles or sales. When did I ever bring up Chain or sales?? Seriously? Let me remind you of this, though.. since you seem to have forgotten. And yeah, Kisumai will be innocent as long as stans like you mislead others by changing fact to fiction.

Since when is KT a flop?? I don't see how breaking world records makes you a flop.. You're just so fucking sad that you can't make an argument so you bring KT into it. Like I said, if you don't have an argument.. just shut the fuck up. You have no idea how ridiculous you're making yourself sound.

Dear lord, grow up. Not all fandoms are against each other; you're just fucking stupid.

Oh, and lmfao.. I'm not your sis. ^_^

And just having ONE variety show ANNOUNCED makes them the second SMAP? I'm not buying that in any way. It's probably going to be 3 guys talking and 4 other guys happen to be there.

Arashi is more like SMAP in terms of their "personality" too. They are good together as a group, but good as individuals too. They are all successful individually while not neglecting the group.

Kisuma is wayyyyy before they can be called second KAT-TUN/Arashi/SMAP/any other group. It's just way too early for that. We still don't know their potential (or lack of).

I meant they could take over the world like how SMAP did. (:
