Kudo Kankuro to write NHK Asadora in 2013

NHK has announced that popular screenwriter Kudo Kankuro (41) will be in charge of the network’s morning drama series during the spring and summer of 2013. This will be his first time ever writing an NHK drama.

Details for the drama are currently being prepared. NHK plans to hold a press conference in June at the earliest to announce the show’s title, story, and setting.

Kudo is well known for writing television dramas such as “Tiger & Dragon” and “Kisarazu Cat's Eye,” as well as writing and directing films such as “Shonen Merikensack” and “Maiko Haaaan!!!”

I've yet to finish "Tiger and Dragon" but I'm liking it so far. :D Isn't it funny how okada was cast for both of Kudo's scripts? xD

I LOOOOOOVED TIGER AND DRAGON! i think I loved it more than I did with KCE. XD
it was just super witty! KCE is my second best though... I haven't finished Manhattan Love Story yet but its also fun and his latest 11 nin mo iru is also reeeaaally good and Unobore was fun too. :D
He likes casting and recasting the same actors for roles in his screenplays.

Yep. NagasexKudoKanXOkada Tandem are the best, imo (I guess that's why I liked T&D more... but KCE was insanely crazy. Loved Ucchie to bits. XD) :3

but KudoKan also needs to work with King Kubozuka again, seriously.

I just still can't believe Okada and Aoi Yu were a couple!
I have mixed feelings about their relationship. lol
I like all members of KCE. Its hard to choose for me.

And I think Kudo is openly perverted in so many ways. xDDDD
Is there a drama where he hasn't made all the cast play non-perverted characters?

yeah.. all of the characters were adorbs... but Ucchie made me laugh the most specially on the final episode of the drama. lol! XD

I don't know.... I didn't think he and her would be dating... so it was hard for me to believe at first. And when they broke up, I was sad to hear that. So, I guess it's mixed feelings. xD
I loved how he was somewhat a minor character of their group, yet had so many parts that caused the episode to roll back and forth 9if you know what I mean)xD
I remember crying too much in the last episode that I forgot what had happened! *goes to rewatch it*

Its like his thing to put perverted jokes. LOL. But it's funny and well written. :D its always at the right time ^^ But because of that, I can't watch kudo's dramas when my family and friends are around me. LMAO

I.LOVED.THAT.SCENE.

I decided to watch 11 nin mo iru! during the weekend because I was getting really curious to what kind of drama it was (lol. thanks to you ♥)!!!!!!!!

AND I LOVE IT.

But i'm so sad because I can't watch the last couple of episodes because they aren't subbed yet (and my japanese is below the very basic). T^T *Cries*

NONETHELESS. I still have T&D which I am going to continue watching now~

I died hearing okada saying (back in a 2009 interview) that when he and Sho are talking to each other outside of work and stuff (like, on their cells), they would call each other with their KCE names. *tears of joy*
