[RUMOUR] [SCANDAL!!] is ayumi hamasaki still married?


Ayumi Hamasaki's estranged ex husband Manuel Schwarz has made some shocking tweets today! He has claimed that all the media reports regarding their marriage are false and that they are in fact still married.


Hamasaki apparently issued a gag order on him so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Still, if she issued a gag order then you know he's likely full of crap. This is why the ancient celts had a 1 year trial "marriage". Cut down on the divorce rate ;)

It's so sweet how all people here jump on Mannie like there is no tomorrow. Nobody of you even thinks about the possibility that his account might have been hacked or that Ayu and Mannie might still be married on paper. You can't get divorced from one day to another.

Being married on paper doesn't mean one or both of them doesn't consider the marriage now over. If his account was hacked, we'll see soon enough.

But are they legally divorced? I don't remember reading that the courts actually granted the divorce. I don't know about Japan but if they were married in the US, divorces here take months to resolve.

Yes but until it is settled the two people are still legally married, so if Ayu and this dude are not finished with the legal divorce then they are still "married"

But he's making it sound like there are no issues and they're still a happy couple, meanwhile she's making it sound like the relationship's over. My parents are technically still married, but my mom doesn't tell people she's married. They're seperated, neither wears their wedding rings anymore, my father doesn't live with us anymore and there's no plans to ever get back together. So while they may be technically and legally "married", I get the impression Ayu doesn't consider there to be a marriage any longer. And if that's true, the guy needs to stop trying to insinuate there is. I'm starting to get the impression that he doesn't want it to be over. Besides, why slap a gag order on him if everything's fine right?

Being still legally married doesn't mean much if you're facing disagreements strong enough to so much as invoke the word divorce. My ma and step-pa were still legally married ten years after they "divorced" because they couldn't be bothered with the fees and paperwork. (I think they are now though because my ma's gone back to her maiden name.) They were always civil, but definitely not together. This guy sounds like he's either clinging to fame or love or both. :/
