Happy Friday! I had the most awkward experience at work this morning!
I was selling a disposable phone to someone, and while we were looking for the phone she wanted, she answered this call from someone.
She ends the call with "I can't tell you much, my husband is tracking me across the country and is using his security clearance to tap my phone and internet."

I was standing there like O_o how do I finish a sale after that?!

Hello Arama!

So I heard back from both jobs but I had to do some soul searching to take one. At first I was offered a job as a MMORPG Game Master aka Game Moderator for The Secret World, but granted it was a temporary position that was gonna last for 3 months and there was no promise I would get hired and it is 40 minutes away in Durham. Granted it is my dream to work in the game industry lately I've realized thanks to watching how quickly people get laid off there that I need to obtain a job that I can transfer to other industries as well.

So I ended up taking the job at NC State University, which is permanent. It will give me the usual benefits a state employee gets as well as the opportunity to attend the university for a discount and take 2 classes for free. After I graduate from community college I'll go there. I'll be working as a an assistant to the supervisor for housekeeping. Most usually look down on jobs like that but idgaf, a job is a job and I have a salary for once so I'm grateful tbh.
