wow they went really overboard with the basic and shitty effects that ended up making the video look EVEN cheaper. good job UFA, y'all keep digging that hole

that being said, i like the lady gaga-esque hair bow but they gotta start dyeing some hair cause most of the new girls all still look the same to me... like a hoard of raven-haired bbs... though i might see how their parents etc would say no but it's time to sink or swim lbr

Love love love this song and video. I think the editor went a bit crazy with the filters, but still the girls are lovely and the spinning shots are really nice. The only complaint I have is the cuts are too quick during the first half of the video, but seem to be less frequent in the second.

Still don't understand Kanon's hairdo but all the girls are cute.

Ran this one through the purikura machine, did we? I'd probably care about it more if I hadn't seen the dance shot first. I like seeing closeups, but half the girls just did it all wrong, and I couldn't see what was going on most of the time because of all the sparkles...

Cheap Pv is cheap. I wish UFA would invest money for their pvs but yeah that's just beating a dead horse. Still love the song.

I used to make icons like this PV when I first discovered filters in PS.
I hated these effects in Kono Chikyuu, but they kinda did fit as it supposedly was about a dream, or space, or hallucination, or whatever. Why couldn't they just go with nice clean shots of these beautiful girls in this one?

The good thing is that the close-ups are very good. It is actually the first time I have ever preferred close-ups to the dance shot (which is barely there tbh). Nobody, absolutely nobody looks off.

Also, didn't Tsunku post a tweet just today that the PV will be up in a week? Is this trolling a new marketing strategy? XD

Once again people are complaining about how cheap the MV is. Get over it, it's not gonna change. If it did I might die of a heart attack.

Anyway, I love my Kukkies and Jukkies so much! All 8 of them were flawless. The editor did a pretty good job incorporating all the member even though they didn't have many lines. I remember seeing everyone's face a few times throughout the MV.

Haters can hate all they want, I'm going to go watch it again!

Just because it won't change doesn't mean people can't complain. IT's bad business on H!P's part. It's not like they don't have the money. They could at least put effort into the good songs they put out and stick to cheap for everything else. It's their 50th single.

Buono and S/mileage are groups that typically have really good PVs. They are simplistic and, yeah, still cheap, but they make what they have work for the groups. Buono had a rough start, but the quality of their PVs increased, and S/mileage hasn't really had a "bad" PV (even Dot Bikini wasn't too bad, the set and lighting were just bad choices for the song's theme). They remain pretty consistent. I don't understand why they can't apply the same method for Morning Musume.

I don't want this to be taken awful, but I really want Sayumi and Reina out. I think some of the new girls are pretty interesting and I'd like to hear them sing or have more screentime. Except Riho who I'm sure we'll hear more and more...I've never liked Sayumi and while Reina sings greatly her voice does not fit my taste, and the little parts the rest sings made me "hmm, maybe she could lead with practice". I'm glad Sayumi got screentime though, she deserves it as the leader...

I don't get why Reina is the one that dances less. Riho sings the same amount and she still looks hyper and stuff.

Ayumi looks the best IMO, loving her hair like that. Really hate how it was all Reina and Riho, I love Riho and realize she's really talented but come on UFA. I was really excited to see the 10th gen and it was a let down for that. Hope The Matenrou Show has a little something more to offer..

Things I didn't like;
That the PV was INSANELY sparkly.
How creepy the close-ups looked in the first half...I get that they're supposed to be dolls and stuff, but that was creepy.

my problem with this MV isn't with the sparkles ( I LOVE SPARKLES OKAY ) but with the insane amount of rapid cuts back and forth. it's like, okay editor dudes calm your tits please

but overall this is a fair improvement to the dance shot, in my opinion. not the best, just ... better than it was.
and sayumin gets more screentime!
