Yamapi's seiyuu debut is a total disappointment

What started as a huge exciting surprise for us Yamapi fans , turned out to be a huge disappointment ( at least in my opinion ) as Yamashita's appearance in the morning anime Toriko was actually  just a few seconds of promotion to his upcoming single "love chase" which was after the amine ended.
I honestly , me and most fans thought he was gonna be a part of the plot, with actual acting and maybe some dancing ( I really was looking forward to a dancing anime Yamapi) but at least, it was kinda nice to hear his voice, here's the clip:

in fairness to them, they just said he's gonna make an appearance. So I did not expect anything more.
I don't think the anime looks like him though. LOL. But he has a hot voice.

Whether or not his appearance met our expectations, there's still a lot of love and support from us. You win some, you lose some. Not all projects will be spectacular and knock our socks off!!

Same OP. Though I'm still happy with how the small segment ( I didn't think he would have a real place...But I dunno,appear in the anime for few seconds xDD)

I think he got some decent airtime there and at least he got a fully animated character. Downside might be it doesn't look that much like him and that he wasn't in the main part of the show itself, but I still think it's somewhat better than this:

Well I wouldn't have brought it up again if a) the Yamapi appearance had in fact been a total disappointment like the title says, or b) no one was complaining about how totally disappointing it is. It isn't really. I think it's okay and that there are far worse out there, including this one (the clip of which I finally find a youtube version of!)

lol sono mama jan, koe. p did a decent job but definetely not 'anime seiyuu' type of voicing over. maybe a little to monotone for anime but thats okay hes no seiyuu anyway. im glad he got a good amount of pr time!
