NOT.

NEWS managed a first day sales of 121,097, smoking this week's competition and Yamapi. For perspective, their last single Fighting Man sold about 170k total. Do you think they can maintain high sales for the rest of the week?

as much as I do like yamapi I have to admit I find it funny and I'm happy that NEWS have managed to outsell his weekly sales in a day even without him when he was obviously the most popular (Sorry, Yamapi...)

They managed to sell that much without a good promo nor Yamapi. This is pretty awesome. I don't know if they'll reach 170k but this number today is awesome, no matter what. (It's even more awesome when you compare with what Yamapi did in two weeks hahaha).

theyre actually doing pretty well they haven't had 100k on the first day since Koi no ABO and weeeek:



their Chankapaana CDs were already sold out in some stores last tuesday. well its a 6 version-comeback single of course they will do well ^^

lol at people still bringing in Yamapi. He's a solo artist. and This is a group COMEBACK single (& i'm sure that the 4 solo versions helped).

that aside, I'm so happy for NEWS. That'll easily cross 200K mark end of week. I hope the next single would't take them ages.

Haha, I just mentioned him because I thought it would be interesting to see how well NEWS did in comparison to him considering he seemed to be the main face of NEWS, sorry if it seemed like I was trying to cause trouble :)

As for Yamapi, I wish he would sell better :/ Love Chase wasn't half bad and better than Ai, Texas.
