Anyone following Scene Queens back in 2006 knew of Dakota Rose through her offensive online shenanigans with her older sister, Kiki Kannibal. Both of their current images are huge contrasts from their former selves, and with their latest pastel reinventions, they have seemingly both gone back in time and subtracted a few years from their ages. It's kind of hard to look back and think that our Sweet Sixteen Barbie Doll was only 10 years old with her damaged bleach blonde hair and piercings. With people finally figuring out her past, Dakota is scrambling to do whatever damage control she can manage. In the past few months, videos and images of her on YouTube and Tumblr have been removed in attempt to suppress people from finding out more about her questionable past. She continues to dig an even deeper hole for herself as the days pass.
Recently, Dakota modeled for Japanese lingerie brand Peach John. While it's surprising she's actually getting work, it seems Peach John went against their own rules by hiring an underage model to advertise their merchandise. A sixteen year old, as Dakota claims to be, would not be allowed to model for this brand. This has many people asking for further proof to confirm she is actually the age she wants us to believe.
On August 3rd, she uploaded a video to her YouTube channel and also posted on her blog to show off her passport as a seemingly official way of putting these rumors to rest.

This biggest issue here is that her passport lists her date of birth as September 19th, 1995, which contrasts with a public domain incident report from 2010 that lists she was born the same day and month but instead in the year 1993. This would make her 18 years old instead of 16 like she has been claiming.
It's true there have been many cases of models, actresses and singers in the Japanese entertainment business lying about their age because their agency wants them to seem more youthful, but with Dakota, some things just don't match up. At first it was just a white lie and not that big of a deal, but after going out of her way to prove it to people, something questionable had to have gone on.
it's possible Dakota has done one of the following: forged her United States passport OR perjured before a Federal Officer to obtain falsified credentials. And then stupidly posted about it online.
It's interesting to see how this whole ordeal will unfold. Not only has Dakota punched one major hole in her identity defense, she has also incriminated her employers. If Dakota is actually able to fool authorities about her age, then she is stating that each of the companies that have hired her have possibly illegally worked her overtime during the multiple hour photo shoots she has partaken in.
