Katori Shingo & Yamapi to appear in drag for “Monster” PV

Single “MONSTERS” to be released in October 28th by the unit “The MONSTERS” formed by Katori Shingo (35) and Yamashita Tomohisa (27), revealed the PV of the coupling song “Monster” in November 8th. At the beginning of the said PV, they appear performing in drag.

“Monster” is a cover of Pink Lady’s big hit by the same name released in 1978, and that’s where the idea of the PV came from. Katori, who has already experienced cross-dressing with popular characters, like Shingo Mama talked about at Yamashita’s first time challenging cross-dressing, “Yamashita Tomohisa, gained a lot of attention, considering this was the first time he dresses like that”, he grinned. Yamashita on the other hand, “It was uncomfortable as expected, but I ended up having fun while dancing. I must be careful in order to avoid turning this into a habit (laugh)”. The said PV is included in the Limited Edition B of the single.

And what's happened with the part when on the question whether he'd do a drag one day Pi very passionately stated 'NEVER IN MY LIFE!!! MY SENCE OF PRIDE IS TOO HIGH FOR THIS KIND OF STUFF!! NEVAHR!!1!' (or smth similar) XDD
Man, he's really changed his way of being an idol...
Cannot say anything about Shingo though - singing as a female is practically his 2nd job XD

remembering how stubborn he is about cross dressing idea and 'my pride is to high for it' really gave me a shock about this~

The question is rather how Yamapi managed to put off his inevitable cross-dressing debut for so long. :) Is there anyone left in JE(in their 20s and 30s) who hasn't cross-dressed???(If there is...they will.)

in PPOI he just wear girl school short skirt for drama.I think it not count for some reason,he still junior high that time too.

As much as I don't mind, I hope you'll not.
This is too much of a shock considering Pi is the only Johnnys who never cross dress before.

For a long time I've wondered what Yamapi would look like in drag (as weird as that sounds) and now I can see it! I feel like I should be thanking Shingo.
