Yamada Ryosuke, Hey! Say! First Solo Debut

Popular member of Hey! Say! JUMP, Yamada Ryosuke‘s solo debut has been decided.

Debut song “Mistery Virgin” will be the theme song of NTV’s drama SP “Kindaichi Case Files: Hong Kong Kowloon Treasure Murder Case” where Yamada challenges the role of a high school detective. A song with a mysterious atmosphere, a drifting dance number and lyrics to match perfectly with the image of the drama.

Up until now he has performed in concerts alone and as a member of Hey! Say! JUMP, although he has shown his talent in singing and dancing before, this is the first time to perform an original solo song which will be released as a CD.

JUMP’s first attempt as solo artist, Yamada, “I’m glad I can do this in such a memorable occasion (60th Broadcasting Anniversary of NTV), though this has always been something in my dreams, I’m overjoyed”, he happily said.

Currently working in Tokyo Imperial Theater as part of the main cast of “JOHNNY’S World”, dedicated to commemorate Mr. Johnny Kitagawa (81) Guinness Certification Memorial. “I want to keep working hard and devoting myself as Hey! Say! JUMP’s Yamada Ryosuke”, he vowed.

His debut performance as solo artist will be held live in NTV’s music festival “Best Artist 2012″ to be broadcasted in November 28th (7PM). The single will be released in January 9th, 2013.

That's my point. Yamada being the best dancer/most popular doesn't mean they will always wait for him. HSJ seems to wait for him for now though. U r right. Yamada can go Jin/Pi way or he can go Kame/Ryo way. He seems to choose the latter but It'll be interesting.

To be fair though i think the person who chose to go solo did so to focus on the music (at least Jin was, i'm not too sure about Pi, he must be i guess?). And from that point of view, i can totally understand why they'd want to go solo. There's less incentive for people who focus more on acting (and other things) to go solo (music wise). I don't really agree w/ the group dynamics/chemistry reason though. sure you wouldn't want to work w/ someone you can't get along well with. but that doesn't mean you would want to stuck w/ your BFF doing something that's not really what you want forever too. work is work, personal life is personal life. i love my friends, but i wouldn't choose my career just to stay with them. after all friends are to hang out with not work right? =p

Nah, i said group dynamics bec I am pretty sure its a major factor why Jin easily decided solo. And why Kame now is adamant on prioritizing/ not missing KAT-TUN activities despite heavy work load and not sleeping. Or refusing Shuji to Akira debut bec he wanted KT to debut first.
As I just see it, Yamada is a group-person.

i don't follow HSJ very much so i dunno if you say Yamada is a group-person like Kame then good for HSJ fan!
