Yamada Ryosuke, Hey! Say! First Solo Debut

Popular member of Hey! Say! JUMP, Yamada Ryosuke‘s solo debut has been decided.

Debut song “Mistery Virgin” will be the theme song of NTV’s drama SP “Kindaichi Case Files: Hong Kong Kowloon Treasure Murder Case” where Yamada challenges the role of a high school detective. A song with a mysterious atmosphere, a drifting dance number and lyrics to match perfectly with the image of the drama.

Up until now he has performed in concerts alone and as a member of Hey! Say! JUMP, although he has shown his talent in singing and dancing before, this is the first time to perform an original solo song which will be released as a CD.

JUMP’s first attempt as solo artist, Yamada, “I’m glad I can do this in such a memorable occasion (60th Broadcasting Anniversary of NTV), though this has always been something in my dreams, I’m overjoyed”, he happily said.

Currently working in Tokyo Imperial Theater as part of the main cast of “JOHNNY’S World”, dedicated to commemorate Mr. Johnny Kitagawa (81) Guinness Certification Memorial. “I want to keep working hard and devoting myself as Hey! Say! JUMP’s Yamada Ryosuke”, he vowed.

His debut performance as solo artist will be held live in NTV’s music festival “Best Artist 2012″ to be broadcasted in November 28th (7PM). The single will be released in January 9th, 2013.

Yamada isnt part of the Akanishi troop so why do people assume he's gonna do similar things? He'll probably be like Kamenashi who's popularity gap with members might be wide but still strives to do both solo and group work.

Besides its just an SP (previous Kindaichis sang solo theme songs) HSJ still sings for Yamada drama theme songs. If that changes to a Yamada solo as well, thats when you start to seriously worry.

Well just as long as he doesn't like being a soloist too much, then it's OK.

Once he found that he prefers to be a soloist than in a group (not that he doesn't like being in the center of attention because he sure as hell does) though, it's bye bye HSJ.

So it will come to if his feelings after being a soloist has changed or not. What the future holds, you'll never know. And to believe that everything will go as the fans want it is the downfall of 6-member NEWS. NEWS believed in Yamapi so much. Not to say that JUMP fans shouldn't believe in him, but just to be prepared to when time changes, feelings would too.

I think NEWS fans saw it coming lol. More than KT fans. In the early years of NEWS, Yamapi would say how it is if he just goes solo but then he'll go back to NEWS in the end. And then he goes back contemplating a solo career and then it finally happened. In HSJ's 10th yr maybe Yamada mights start to think abt it bec for now, it's nil.

Even more reason to be more cautious, IMO. There might be changes before and after. After all, even when he was a Jr, he has always been groomed to stand out, like a soloist. But time will tell.
