[alert] [help] AKB48 Re-Releases All Stage Albums, Including Studio Recordings of Previously Unrelea

It has been announced that on January 1st, 2013, that all of AKB48's team stages, including Himawarigumi and the now disbanded Team 4, will get studio recording CD (re-)releases! The CDs come with a bonus disc containing instrumentals of the songs. First presses come with a photo randomly selected from 12 kinds. CDJapan has an external bonus of B5-size clear folder containing designs and autographs of selected members. Covers are available to view at the Tower Records source and at CDJapan. YesAsia is working on getting all the CDs up for order, and HMV Japan doesn't have them up yet.

EFFIN' FINALLY, THE LOST STAGES IN THE QUALITY THEY DESERVE, THIS IS THE REALITY I WANTED

When I saw the news on twitter I assumed it's gonna be a box set (bc of the "studio recordings collection" title) and feared I'd have to sell a kidney or something to get it, but no, reality is not cruel for once. Someone hold me.

I can actually have a physical copy of K4 and H1 now, if I'm dreaming no one dare wake me up ;A;A;

so, I take these are the stages Aki-P lost the rights of when they moved labels? Someone told me here when Nogizaka was created that he/her believed the reason was to recuperate those. Sign a group with Sony (?) and later get back the rights to re-record those.

It's all the stages, those who have been already released on CD before, plus the ones who never did either because of the label change you stated (A4,K4,B3,H1,H2) or because there never was much reason to release them I guess (B1, B2 and the team 4 stage; none of these have original songs).

I've also heard that theory regarding Nogizaka and I don't think it sounds unreasonable. Sony was pressed for a long time because of AKB's transition to King Records; that's why we never got those stages on CD before and up 'till 2 years ago or so, AKB had to distribute most of their dvd sets, like Request Hour, from their official shops only. Or so I've heard, but it does stand to reason imo.

Yeah, I also found that was an interesting and most possible theory.

So, we'll have all the stages, that's really good.

It definitely is, considering the grand majority of AKB's best songs is from the stages. Yes, I'm one of those fans.

So... my head tilts a little at this one "Overture (instrumental)" How does the rapper guy shouting "Are you ready!?" a billion times have an instrumental?
