Arama They Didn't




It was announced that Yamashita Tomohisa will team up with talento Imada Koji, to become the MCs for Fuji TV’s new variety show “Shougeki! Sansedai Hikaku TV Generation Tengoku” (tentative title).

This new variety show will compare the life style of Japanese people splitting them into three generations, and total 15 guests from various backgrounds who are in their 10~20s, 40~50s, and over 60s, will be invited each time to hold a talk battle.

The first episode will be filmed in January next year, and the themes will be “Foods that surprised you” and “The life style of high school girls”.  The guests from each generation will share their stories while watching the VTR that shows the comparison between the generations.

This will be the first time for Yamashita to make a regular appearance on a variety show, and also, to be the MC of a show. “I am nervous to co-star with Imada-san, but I am also looking forward to getting to know more about different generations. I would love to know the ideas that our generation doesn’t possess,” said Yamashita. Imada also commented, “I want to make this show one that everybody watches regardless of age or sex, and helps them come up with conversations for the next day. I also hope I can receive first-hand information about the young generation from Yama-P.”


“Shougeki! Sansedai Hikaku TV Generation Tengoku” will start airing in January (every Monday at 8:00 pm).
