20 – “Chankapana” – NEWS : (305,407)

Congratulations NEWS!
risa_kim 21st-Dec-2012 12:29 am (UTC)
OMG~ AKB48 dominated the big 5~ (O_o)
meoinkie2 21st-Dec-2012 12:30 am (UTC)
i shouldn't really be surprised anymore lol
there's only like 4 artists on this idol-dominated chart
hina 21st-Dec-2012 12:32 am (UTC)
The entire top 20 is 48 + JE, and top 30 is 48, JE, EXILE and MisuChiru. It's complete domination by a few franchises.
amenooto 21st-Dec-2012 12:48 am (UTC)
this is depressing
taylorniw 21st-Dec-2012 12:51 am (UTC)
This is embarrassing.
citrine047 21st-Dec-2012 08:06 am (UTC)
+1
kamelover101 21st-Dec-2012 01:03 am (UTC)
Cue the whining from Jpop elitists.

Every year. Without Fail. You guys don't disappoint.

Go to the digital or album chart instead of clogging this article with your negativity.
filipinohooker 21st-Dec-2012 02:39 am (UTC)
ur making a bigger deal out of it than anyone else i see in here
nyappnyappcafe 21st-Dec-2012 07:45 am (UTC)
you seem upset, friend.
kamelover101 21st-Dec-2012 07:47 am (UTC)
Yes, I am quite upset. This same kind of comments have been coming since the 2010 yearly single charts. You would think that people would come to accept it as normal by now.
asth77 21st-Dec-2012 07:49 am (UTC)
lol
ungalad 21st-Dec-2012 01:11 am (UTC)
I am SO happy that NEWS made it to the top 20!!!!!!!!!!!
legally_cutie 21st-Dec-2012 01:15 am (UTC)
I listen to AKB48 songs and I like 48 family. But I'm getting sick of the chart domination, and it's getting worse each year..o_0

Well, that means they have fucking great marketing strategy :3
awkward_as_heck 21st-Dec-2012 08:38 am (UTC)
I honestly wouldn't mind if it wasn't so generic but so much of the 48 family stuff is so cookie cutter that I can barely tell some of them apart. I'm not expecting grand artist statements but I wish they would at least try to be a little more interesting because the 48 groups are breaking so many long standing records with comparitively unremarkable music.

Exactly!
window_girl 21st-Dec-2012 01:46 am (UTC)
No wonder it's so boring for me. All the same producing for most of this year's hit songs.

Kind of wish a few rookie artists or something would have a bunch of huge hits and start to shake up the 48-family and JE domination of the charts.

whited_79 21st-Dec-2012 07:42 am (UTC)

23 – “Inori ~Namida no Kidou / End of the day / pieces” – Mr.Children : (275,640)

Legends stay strong, even with only one version! XDDD

32 – “GOOD LUCK” – BUMP OF CHICKEN : (195,714)
34 – “GO FOR IT, BABY -Kioku no Sanmyaku” – B’z : (187,166)

ginandnews 22nd-Dec-2012 02:03 pm (UTC)
SLAYKE48 TBH <3333 (please Aki-P this should indicate that SKE shouldn't take part in AKB's elections or singles since they are well-established already)
