Note 1:

The NINKI ratings are the results of a POLL conducted by Oricon indicating degree of interest/degree of purchase intention in an upcoming release. Although the ratings are never a true reflection of sales, it does give a strong prediction about where the single/album will place in terms of popularity amongst the Japanese public. However, they are NOT an indication of how it will perform in terms of chart positioning and total sales for the week.

Note 2:

According to Oricon's note under the NINKI page, Oricon researches about 870,000 of its members by random sampling of 400 members in their 10s until 40s. 50 men and 50 women are chosen randomly to participate in each age group. (However, some popular artists have had NINKI exceeding 500, so we can only assume that Oricon has extended the polling to around 600/700 people now.)

I hope FMB sell another 100k first week at least since it's gonna be their final album before disbanding. And I would be (pleasantly) surprised if UVER gets no.1 since this is only a re-cut single, though I think it's gonna be Kasai vs V6 in a 2-way battle instead.

According to Oricon ranking page, this week and the week after that (31/12/2012~6/1/2013) are supposed to be combined to make one weekly chart, which means Sandaime J Soul Brothers (album), AKB48 studio recordings collection albums and Golden Bomber (single) should enter the weekly race as well.

Reversi is released in 3 editions, and the bonus DVD tracklist looks interesting. So, who knows :)

I'm here for V6.
"Rock your soul" is awesome.

err these are not pre-order numbers, this is a poll or survey...I'm pretty sure that fans didn't pre-order only 74 copies, right?

you seem like you're new to Ninki ratings...it's not probably, it IS a poll...it's stated in the website, and you can read the Notes up there for further info...

the numbers are in points, not thousands, example for V6 is 74 points...Oricon sent the survey to random Oricon members like 2/3 weeks before the release date, then maybe asked them questions like, between 0-3, give your indication of interest to buy these upcoming releases, 0 being not interested to buy at all, and 3 being most interested...something like that...
