I can actually understand what they're singing! Well, not understand-understand, but at least I know they're Japanese words and not... whatever the hell 4minute's singing in Japan.
Plus I wholeheartedly approve of a PV of Mister. B)))b
While I love Kara and all I really want a kpop group to stop recycling their old songs from Korea and just translating them into Japanese. I don't want to here to 'japanese' version of a Korean song I want to hear something new.
\o/ I was a little hesitant about their debut in Japan before... while I still wish they'd do a new song, I'm happy this actually sounds pretty good in Japanese.
I didn't really give it a second glance in Korean, but it sounds really good in Japanese. Better by far than most all of the kpop rereleased in Japanese lately IMO. :T
I prefer the korean version (I really liked that version) and I think it would take me a while to get a really positive feel for the Japanese version. it's simply ok for me. Maybe I'm just too used to the korean version that the moment I heard a Japanese word in the song, I kinda smirked.
I loved their outfits when they were performing this song in the different korean music shows before.
I can tell they are singing in Japanese! yey for them!! not that I really mind LOL so this is irrelevant. Is it me or what? I find the Korean version more lively.
Yay, I wanted a PV for this song ♥ I really like KARA, and this song is so catchy! But... ah, I kind of hate that k-pop groups go to Japan with translated 'old' hits. It's just lame.
I'm happy that Mister is getting an MV and the Japanese sounds okay here. Really like this song and BUTT DANCE! Anyway, I feel bothered when people here comment that Korean artists should stay out of the Japanese music scene and vice versa. Come on, it's not their choice and it's not like most of them have a say in it.
Catchy, definetely and cudos that their japanese or the little what you hear is understandable. But anyone know realistically how good chances do korean girlgroups have to make it in the japanese market,I don't mean selling a few thousand copies but really becoming popular like Boa and DBSK. Mainly because I've hear it's easier for boygroups to make it, Japan has so many girlsgroups of their own (momusu, akb48 and Speed)
I think the fact that korean girlgroups does not do as well as boys in japan is because most of the people that follow idols are girls/women, and therefore boygroups are more popular :/ Also, if I'm not mistaken, Japans girlgroups often cater to older men (like momusu(?) and AKB48) and therefore act more "silly-girly" and not as "fierce" as korean groups do. Therefore I think it's harder for them to find a fanbase in japan than the boys :/ However, I think there could be a chance for some girlgroups to make it. It's just a question of promoting and having the right concept I think :)
