New Pour Lui-fronted idol group debuts with free song

Pop-rock singer Pour Lui, who made her CD debut back in May with the mini-album Minna no Pour Lui, abruptly announced last September that she would be ceasing her solo activities to instead form and participate in a new idol group. After a series of auditions through Ustream and indie music news site OTOTOY in which applicants were asked various questions about themselves and the idols they admire, finally, three girls were chosen: Nakayama Yukiko, Yokoyama Rina and Hirano Nozomi. With Pour Lui as their leader, they debuted in late December as BiS, an abbreviation of Brand-new idol Society.

Pour Lui revealed in a recent interview that the group was recording for a March album release said to contain twelve songs, and today, a likely album track titled "Taiyou no Jumon" went up on the OTOTOY site for free — you can download it from them here by clicking the second button and using your Twitter login to get the song.

Here is an awkward YouTube video of their manager rambling for two minutes followed by an audition montage inexplicably set to the ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWER song:

Their first album is titled Brand-new idol Society and scheduled for a March 23rd release.
