As reported previously, actress Sawajiri Erika held a press conference on the 23rd concerning the rumors of divorce between her and her husband, Takashiro Tsuyoshi, where she implied that the divorce had been a mutual agreement between the two. However, it appears that there are still many issues to be cleared up on the matter.
The couple has been married since January of 2009 and announced last April that they were having difficulties in their marriage. Sawajiri then established her own private apartment in Barcelona and has since often tearfully complained to the press, “I just want to do my job as an actress.”
Although Sawajiri appeared to be very honest and forthcoming about the divorce during her press conference, her husband Takashiro appears to have several objections about her speech, and sent the following e-mail to Sports Hochi:
“Honestly, I’m surprised that she would announce on her own accord that we mutually agreed on the divorce. Today’s press conference comes as a great surprise to me (lol). Since the story has changed so many times, I’m not going to be kind about it any more. Until recently, we had been getting along well together. Because of the problems we had (last April), we try to talk about everything without lying to each other. We talked about the divorce, about everything, but can I say that we were fully prepared to get a divorce? We should’ve talked to both of our parents about everything on the whole situation, but no matter how many times I told Erika, she would get angry and wouldn’t listen. I don’t know why the media is speaking as if they’re on her side again. I feel like I’m waiting for Erika to tell the whole truth, as an adult.“

EDIT: tokyographers made some corrections to the translation:
Takashiro said that he had told her he would consent to a divorce if she publicly talked about everything that happened since last year without lying, so he assumes that's what Erika is referring to with the "mutual agreement."
He also says that he told Erika multiple times that they should have first explained everything to their parents, but she got angry and wouldn't listen. He doesn't know why she once again decided unilaterally to make a statement to the media instead.
He ended by saying that *he*, as an adult, plans to wait for Erika to truthfully speak about everything (as per their "agreement").
