gravure idol gets flamed for her lingerie snap.

Gravure idol Kasai Nana has recently been on the receiving end of a flood of negative comments for a blog update posted early March 12th, the day after Japan's recent earthquake/tsunami disaster. The update was titled "This morning's sexy shot", and featured a black and white photograph of her in lingerie, lounging on her bed.

Soon after, she deleted the post and posted an apology, explaining that the 'morning sexy shots' (another example of which is above) were something she'd done for a while and had set to post automatically - she just hadn't thought to turn it off, resulting in an inappropriate post during times of great distress.

There have also been commenters rushing to her aid, calling the complaints 'childish' and speaking of how they were cheered up to see her update amongst all the sad news.

Source.

i saw this when it was up and WTF'd until she explained it was automatic. still...

one of the things I did after the disaster was turn off my queued fangirl spazz posts. It seemed very inappropriate, although I understand if some people forget. :3

i get it.. but honestly, it's not that big of a deal. the world doesn't stop because there's a tragedy.

why are people checking her blog at this time anyway?

"why are people checking her blog at this time anyway?"

This is the real question.

She apologized, so I don't see the problem. She might have been too busy worry about friends or family to think about that. The internet would be the last thing from my mind....

oh man, that must've been really embarrassing. i hope people have moved on now that she's apologized.

this; I feel bad for the poor girl

Not her fault at all.

People need to calm down. She didn't mean anything by it, I bet, and honestly, it's good for people to continue their daily lives in the wake of a tragedy to help the country recover.

I agree

I had no idea people weren't supposed to try returning to normalcy after a great tragedy. She apologized, that's what matters most. I understand that this is a time of mourning, but I don't blame anyone who wants to get their lives back on track and move forward.

Not important

Going back to daily life doesn't mean you don't care about the situation. Leave the poor girl alone.

honestly, and it wasn't her fault in the first place ? ._.
asth77 14th-Mar-2011 08:23 am (UTC)
well that's not her fault --'

It's not a huge deal. I'm glad she clarified and apologized though, that shows some class and humbleness (look at me, talking about classiness and humility in a gravure idol).
sashwizzled 14th-Mar-2011 10:08 pm (UTC)
Oh, come the fuck off it. You clearly have fuck all better to do if you're flaming her for it. Also, I wasn't aware people were supposed to stop living their lives because of a natural disaster.

(*general you)
