Previously, we reported on the rumors saying that model Masuwaka Tsubasa would divorce her husband, Umeda Naoki, by the end of the year. On October 19th, both Masuwaka and Umeda firmly denied those rumors through their official blogs.
In the entry, the couple wrote, “Let us make a comment as the Umeda family. There is absolutely no truth in what has been reported. We are utterly shocked with these reports.”
The agency made a statement through fax as well, saying “We feel very regretful that the details are different from the truth.”source
On the 19th, the four actresses Toyota Maho (44), Yonekura Ryoko (36), Ishihara Satomi (24), and Kutsuna Shiori (18) received the “Clarino Beautiful Legs Award 2011” for their healthy and beautiful legs.
It was the ninth time that ‘Clarino‘, a leather brand of kuraray, honored four female celebrities from different age groups with the said award.
Yonekura revealed the secret to her beautiful legs and said, “Due to work I have a pretty irregular life and can’t always pay attention to the condition of my legs, but I try to get massages, exercise a lot, and use creams very often.” She was wearing a pretty mini-dress and commented, “I’m going to film at a wine bar (for the drama “HUNTER“) after this, so this dress should be just right.”
This year it was the first time they gave the award to a teenager and Kutsuna was the first to receive one. She commented, “I moved around a lot during my childhood, so I’ve got some muscles early on. I’d like to pay more attention to the care (of my legs) from now on, since I’ll be turning twenty very soon.”
Ishihara commented, “Using this award as a motivation, maybe I can improve on my physical strength and not become tired so quick anymore.”
Toyota revealed, “My figure is changing, but I’ve successfully lost 5 kg for this award ceremony.”Source + Pictures: Sanspo, NikkanSPA! & tokyohive
“Kaito Royale” is a live-action adaptation of a popular social game on Mobage, where players are able to become different types of phantom thieves and collect treasures. The thief characters were already revealed through the two previous announcements ( ), but now we actually got to know one of the boss characters who will make it difficult for the protagonists to snatch away the goods.
Sasaki is going to slip into the role of a machine-gun-wielding nun, who goes by the name of ‘Sister Snake‘. It’s the first time for ’sweet’ Sasaki to play a bad woman, but it looks like she had more problems adapting to the outfit, rather than the role.
She commented, “The outfit is actually divided into many small details and parts, which made it quite difficult to put it on.” She added, “I heard that she is a very bothersome boss for the players in the game, but the drama features an original story. Look forward to find out how she’s going to be involved with the protagonists.”
The producer of the drama explained why they chose Sasaki for the role. He stated, “It’s a role that’s exactly opposite to Sasaki’s existing image. We believe that this gap is going to have a fresh and interesting effect (on the character).”
“Kaito Royale” is said to contain mystery, suspense, action, and (probably) love. The four protagonists are played by Matsuzaka Tori, Omasa Aya, Fukushi Seiji, and Chansung (2PM).
Japan is a “lolicon superpower” in which the rampant “Lolita complex,” the adult male fixation on preteen girls, fuels a persistent demand for, to quote from Shukan Asahi’s headline, “children sold by their mothers.”
The magazine (Oct 28) tells the following stories and several others like it, but doesn’t say how many cases they represent. Are they aberrations, or more typical than anyone likes to think?
“My parents divorced when I was in second grade,” says Chisato, now 17. “Mama was in the ‘fashion health’ business. From the time I was little I wanted to be an ‘idol’, a big star. I thought mama was helping me.”
She was about 10 when mama started having her pose for photographs – in a wet gym uniform, or in panties cutting into her flesh. “You’ll be a star,” said mama, “just like [girl pop group] Morning Musume. The photos were apparently sold to a production company mama was in touch with.
“I hated it,” says Chisato, “but after the photo sessions, I’d get taken to a steak restaurant for a hamburger, which I liked, so I stuck it out.”
Time passed, Chisato matured. “Listen,” said mama, “why don’t you do enjo kosai” – a sex-for-cash transaction usually involving high school girls and much older men. “Your breasts are growing, you can’t appeal to lolicon types anymore.”( Collapse )Soiurce: japantoday

On October 19th, Hamasaki Ayumi wrapped up her nationwide tour at Saitama Super Arena.
In light of March’s Tohoku Earthquake, the title of the tour was changed to “POWER of MUSIC“. Hamasaki called out, “Let’s send the love we created to every corner of Japan!“, before singing a total of 21 songs in front of 25,000 people. She charmed the crowd with her collaboration performance with AAA’s Urata Naoya and Korean singer JUNO. During the encore, Hamasaki became overwhelmed with emotion and cried aloud.
Hamasaki also announced that she’s raised over 123 million yen (approximately $1.6 million USD) with her charity T-shirts. The proceeds were donated to the Japanese Red Cross.
After much speculation and silent denials, weekly tabloid magazine ‘FRIDAY‘ eventually reported that actress Miyazaki Aoi and actor Takaoka Sosuke have stopped living together since last month.
Miyazaki and Takaoka married back in June of 2007, and it seems like the married couple is facing their biggest crisis with ‘FRIDAY’ providing proof in forms of photos, that they have stopped living together. The said photos indicate that Miyazaki is currently living in an apartment somewhere around the Tokyo Metropolitan area, while Takaoka has rented himself an apartment in Setagaya, Tokyo.
Is this the sign of an impending divorce? Sanspo contacted Takaoka’s new agency, the one he started after his Twitter scandal, and they decided to refuse to make any comments about his private life instead of flatly denying the rumor. According to other officials within the industry, it sounds like Miyazaki eventually reached the end of her patience and left their apartment first.
Due to those circumstances, it seems unlikely that they are going to reconcile. Most people expect that Miyazaki is finally going to push for a divorce sooner or later. Obviously her agency also refused to make any comments, but recently the actress was seen more often without her wedding ring.
Miyazaki is going to attend a screening of her latest movie “Tsure ga Utsu ni Narimashite.“, which ironically portrays the deep bonds between a married couple, on October 21st. Reporters will be pretty eager to entice her to make a comment regarding her own married life at this event.
Tokyohive will continue to keep you updated about the relationship status of this couple.
Watarirouka Hashiritai 7’s new single, “Kibou Sanmyaku“, has been picked up to be the opening theme song for anime series “Crayon Shin-chan“! Their song will start playing on November 4th’s episode.
“Crayon Shin-Chan” has been airing since April of 1992, and it’s garnered a substantial fanbase since then. Member Watanabe Mayu is a fan herself, and felt delighted about this collaboration. “I was very happy when I heard we could sing for ‘Crayon Shin-chan’, which I have been watching since I was little,” she said.
As for the song, “Kibou Sanmyaku”, it’s been described to have the “Showa taste”. Fans can expect to hear a positive track with the theme, “A rooters’ song for the Japanese“; it also carries elements that remind one of the 1970s ~ 1980s.
Additionally, the choreography involves a comical dance said to be very “Watarirouka Hashiritai 7-like”. Member Kikuchi Ayaka revealed, “Since both the song and the dance are really easy, I will be happy to see all of you dance to it together hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder.”
