ShounenT is a singer who debuted as Sako Tomohisa on March 28th, 2012 under Sony Music Entertainment with the single "Ai Kotoba". On June 6th, he released his 2nd single "Zutto" which is the opening song of the anime, Kimi to Boku 2.
However, ShounenT has long been active as far back as 2009 as an utaite. Utaite is a term for people who cover previously released songs and post them on the popular video site Nico Nico Douga; under the utattemita category. Utaite is unique for NND singers, differentiating from the general term of "kashu" (singer). Generally utaite cover J-pop, anime, game and vocaloid original songs. However it is not unusual for them to release original music/drama CDs during events such as Comiket and Vocaloid M@ster.
ShounenT was born on December 26th, 1991 in Hokkaido and is currently a vocational college student. He is known for his acoustic arrangements, which other singers and himself use. He has a soft and light voice that is sometimes accompanied by his own guitar. The "T" in his stage name stands for his real name, Tomohisa. Thus his fans call him T-kun. He also has a younger brother, Malon, who is a odoite (dancer) on NND.

Earlier this week, the Japanese government revised its Copyright Law, making it possible for music/software/movie pirates to face up to 2 years in prison.
The bill makes downloading of such pirated content punishable by a maximum of two years in prison and/or a fine of up to ¥2 million. A 2010 revision to the same law made the downloading of such contents illegal, but avoided assigning penalties.
The uploading of pirated music and video content has long been illegal and carries a maximum 10 years in prison or a fine of up to ¥10 million.
People who make backup copies of legitimately purchased DVD’s could also face these penalties under the new revision.
Tech savvy people are understandably alarmed by this news. Some have suggested that the mere act of watching a YouTube video that contains copyrighted content could get you arrested.
However, as YouTube vlogger Victor (Gimmeaflakeman) explains, the reports about YouTube are exaggerated and sensationalized:
A Japanese government official has stated that watching a video would not be considered a crime. To violate the law, you would need to use software to save a copy of the Youtube video to your computer.
Although extremely harsh penalties will become a possibility, it is still unclear whether authorities will choose to apply them. My guess is that, like so many other crimes that carry possible jail sentences in Japan, first time offenders will get suspended sentences instead of serving actual time in prison.

It has been announced by Kadokawa Shoten that NEWS' Kato Shigeaki's debut novel "Pink to Gray" will get a manga adaptation. It will be released via Kadokawa's manga magazine "ASUKA" August issue. The writer and illustrator for the manga version hasn't been revealed yet.
"Pink to Gray" tells the story of two best friends who entered the entertainment industry together. However, one became a star while the other gets left behind to supporting roles. The novel talks about the successes and frustrations in the entertainment industry.
Shigeaki wrote the novel during the time when NEWS was idle. Shigeaki mentioned before that he wrote the novel with the intention of excluding everything about him that shouts "boy band". He wanted his novel to show a different side of him.
