A man who stabbed his ex-girlfriend to death in Japan learned her new married name and the area where she lived from police officers who arrested him for stalking her, media reported Friday.

Hideto Kozutsumi was arrested in Kanagawa Prefecture last year on charges of stalking and harassing Rie Miyoshi after he repeatedly threatened to kill her in a series of emails following the pair’s split.

I believe KARA will get no.1, though I'm not sure if they can even reach 200k this time. As for Sexy Zone, I don't think they will be much of a threat considering their singles sales, but the handshake events will probably help them get over 100k. I hope SPEED does decently, and I think Maaya will debut in the top 5, possibly above SPEED. And lol Wonder Girls' best album doesn't even rank in the NINKI.

As for singles chart, although 2PM has a higher NINKI, I hope that 3G-JSB will pull through and grab the no.2 spot instead. Also rooting for Ketsumeishi, Fairies and LOVE PSYCHEDELICO.

When do Japanese people Have Their First Kiss?

Japanese men aren’t known for being the most romantically aggressive bunch. Many young Japanese women lament over having to take the lead just to get out of the dugout and onto first base.

If Japanese guys are so reluctant to get touchy-feely, you’ve got to wonder: at what age do Japanese people have their first kiss?

Japanese mobile company NTT Docomo conducted an online poll that asked respondents to divulge when they first closed their eyes and puckered up. The poll was conducted during the two weeks of September 6-19 and received 36,818 entries.

Before we looks at the results, it’s important to realize that dating and kissing as we know it in the Western world is still something relatively new to Japan, a country where arranged marriages still exist and, until recently, kissing was something traditionally reserved for the bedroom. While Japanese women may be ready to adopt the kiss as a form of showing affection, their male counterparts might just need some time to adjust.

■  When did you have your first kiss? (36,818 votes total)

1. High school (9878 votes)
2. Never kissed (6119 votes)
3. Middle school (6021 votes)
4. After entering workforce and before 31 (5771 votes)
5. College (4262 votes)
6. Preschool/Kindergarten (2423 votes)
7. Elementary school (2029 votes)
8. After 31 (331 votes)

Putting together high school, middle school, college, preschool/kindergarten and elementary school, a little over 60% of respondents had their first kiss by their early 20s.

On the other hand, some 6000 respondents didn’t have their first kiss until after they entered the workforce, and another 6000 or so have never kissed at all. Perhaps these people just place more value on their first kiss than others. But looking at the growing ranks of frustrated Japanese women, general apathy towards romantic relationships seems the more likely suspect.

Canada's Waterloo Festival To Screen "Rainbow Fireflies" Film

Canada's 2012 Waterloo Festival of Animated Cinema have added Konosuke Uda's Rainbow Fireflies (Niji-Iro Hotaru ~Eien no Natsu Yasumi~) to its list of anime film showings. The films that have already been included in the lineup are Asura, Blood-C: The Last Dark, A Letter to Momo, Wolf Children films and the Anime Mirai shorts.

The story revolves around a 12-year-old boy named Yuuta (Akashi Takei) who had lost his father in a traffic accident a year ago. For his summer vacation he decides to go to a deserted dam deep in the mountains, a place where he and his father once shared good memories. Yuuta suddenly receives a shock in a thunderstorm, loses his footing, and becomes unconscious. When he wakes up, he sees a small girl and a village — except this village is the one that should be submerged below the dam. Yuuta realizes that he slipped thirty years back in time. 'Another' summer vacation begins.

The film opened in Japan, earlier this year, on May 19 and screened at France's Annecy film festival in June.

The festival will be on from November 15 to November 18 at the Chrysalids Theatre in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.

Netizens Refuse to Believe that Nakai Masahiro was Poor

SMAP‘s Nakai Masahiro is one of the multi-millionaires in the industry, earning as much as 700 million Yen just from his TV shows and CMs, so it was quite a surprise when he shared his impoverished childhood.

As reported,

Last Oct 31st, SMAP’s Nakai Masahiro featured well-to-do guests for his NTV program titled “Nakai no Mado“. In the said episode with theme “rich in gold but poor in heart”, Nakai’s guests were born rich, never had problems with money, and can buy or give expensive items. After listening to their stories, Nakai can’t help but share his childhood home.

According to Nakai, there are times when they can’t buy enough rice for the entire family because they have little money. There is no bath in the house. The rooms were small, only 4 tatami mats, and five family members sleeps in one room. Eating a Yoshinoya beef bowl is too expensive, so they settle for McDonald’s once in a while. He will be pinch by his parent if he chose medium-sized burger and drinks instead of the small one. It’s hard to imagine that Nakai’s childhood home was that poor.

Afterwards, netizens commented on Nakai’s story, like:

  • Old McDonald’s is by no means cheap.
  • Isn’t the hamburger only 210Yen when Nakai was a kid? If he can’t afford it, then he must be really poor.
  • Doesn’t mean anything coming from a millionaire.
  • Nothing but a lie! He even went to Hiratsuka (private) School.
  • Pls. remember that in old days, it’s already considered a feast if you eat rice with butter or soy sauce.

Kamenashi Kazuya is Rumored to be Dating Anne

It started as a piece of rumor that co-stars for the upcoming movie “Yokai Ningen Bem” are dating. Since there are no pictures to prove that KAT-TUN‘s Kamenashi Kazuya and actress Anne are dating, there have been various “witness” accounts that could prove otherwise…

As reported,

In an article from Bunshun, staffs from Yokai Ningen Bem location said how the two would be “lovey dovey“. When Kamenashi would talk to a female staff, Anne seems to always interrupt and would join the conversation. It has become a rumor among the staff that the two are dating. The two would take their meals together during breaks, they loved to talk about baseball since both of them are Giants fan, and they would fondly call each other “Kame-chan” and “Anne-chan“. Lastly, every time Fuku Suzuki would come in between them, you could feel that they are like a real family.

In a separate article, it was also stated that Anne watched “Dream Boys” last September. Instead of seating in VIP/celebrities section, Anne chose to seat among the general public and privately cheered Kamenashi with a “Kame-chan”. Those who were involved backstage said that Kamenashi was particularly hyper on that day.

with Kame's 2 upcoming movies, I am actually looking forward to more rumors (made up or not) that would come up, lol
I don't know what they are trying to prove, since Kame & Anne freely say they get along really well & hang out at times
It's cute, but I feel everything is platonic
