On Friday, Abe Asami (26) confirmed on her official blog that she got married that same day to a 34-year-old content creator, as was previously reported. However, she also revealed that she is retiring from show business to devote herself to married life.
Abe is the younger sister of former Morning Musume member Abe Natsumi. She debuted as a singer in 2003, and she began making regular television appearances around the same time. In 2007, she was added to the group Gyaruru after member Tsuji Nozomi left due to her pregnancy and marriage to actor Sugiura Taiyo.
