Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a junior high school girl in September, reports Sankei News today.
It has been reported the three had been fans of a 14-year-old back dancer for Johnny’s group Hey! Say! JUMP. On September 25, an incident had happened where a junior high school girl was beaten up, had her hair cut, and money taken from her. Two 18-year-olds have admitted to beating up the girl, claiming she had been “texting the (Johnny’s) member”.
According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, the girls had apparently been annoyed after hearing rumours a Johnny’s fan was texting a member in private, breaking fan rules about exchanging information with Johnny’s talents on online message boards open to the public. It is still unknown whether the email address the fan was texting to was really the talent’s or not.
