VSK partially revealed!

The masked/mysterious rock idol band, VSK has revealed their cover of AKB48's 'Heavy Rotation':







(L-R)

Guitar : Kanato
Bass: Ruka
Vocal: Hibiki
Guitar: Ritsu
Drums : Soshi

If you stop by their OHP, they even have their own blogs set up and profiles with other information (birthdate, blood type, etc)

As previously mentioned, their debut album of 10 AKB48 songs will be released on 9th December.



The beginning of HR sounded like the original Ponytail to shu shu IMO and there are some parts of HR that I like, and some parts they just ruined it... And who the eff is the vocalist?!?! There has to be more than just 'Hibiki' with an animated face! omg my first arama post approved~

So, while the art isn't bad, it's looks like the exact same face with different hairstyles and skin tones...especially from the middle on.

I think I don't mind the actual rock version of the song, but the voice...meh?

Oh yea.. now that you mentioned it..it's like seeing a quintet w/ identical face!

The voice is a little let down though.. I like the song except for the chorus coz I think the chorus spoiled the song xD

I had a brief moment of creepy oddness because something felt wrong with the picture and I couldn't place it at first, but yeah, the faces are the best?worse? example of serious Manga Same Face.

I find covers of songs that cross genres really, really interesting, so just the concept of rock AKB is amazing.

For all the hype that they spent on keeping us on edge in the last few days, their cover is quite tame and depressing in some parts. I expected some hard rock riffs to match the ferocity of their drummer's eclectic beats. And the vocalist sounds like he's whining or someone who just got dumped.

Boy, what a letdown.

Well, this one's just a sample so hopefully it isn't really like a 'taste of what's to come'.

Heavy Rotation sounds really bad D: Totally show how bad the vocal is... Although his (digital) hair is nice. Till now, I still stand by that Beginner is the best cover they did (not that any is entirely good to begin with).
