“Kaseifu no Mita” reached a new all-time high of the year with a whooping episode rating of 29.6% (+6.1%) in the Kanto region, and an equally impressive 29.0% in the Kansai region. The last time a normal weekly drama recorded a higher rating in the Kanto region was TBS aired its final episode of “Karei Naru Ichizoku” on March 18th, 2007 with 30.4%.
“Kaseifu no Mita” has yet to reach its finale, and it should be noted that the peak of this week’s episode was recorded at 31.5%.
So far, the average rating of “Kaseifu no Mita” is looking good with 22.06% as well. The best average rating of the previous three seasons of this year was achieved by “JIN 2” with 20.6%.Next week’s ratings are going to be even more interesting. One of the biggest mysteries, Mita-san’s shocking past, was finally revealed this week, but next week’s episode is already looking to become pretty intense, according to previews and teasers. Moreover, the upcoming episode is going to be 15 minutes longer than usual.
