“Kaseifu no Mita” reached a new all-time high of the year with a whooping episode rating of 29.6% (+6.1%) in the Kanto region, and an equally impressive 29.0% in the Kansai region. The last time a normal weekly drama recorded a higher rating in the Kanto region was TBS aired its final episode of “Karei Naru Ichizoku” on March 18th, 2007 with 30.4%.
“Kaseifu no Mita” has yet to reach its finale, and it should be noted that the peak of this week’s episode was recorded at 31.5%.
So far, the average rating of “Kaseifu no Mita” is looking good with 22.06% as well. The best average rating of the previous three seasons of this year was achieved by “JIN 2” with 20.6%.
Next week’s ratings are going to be even more interesting. One of the biggest mysteries, Mita-san’s shocking past, was finally revealed this week, but next week’s episode is already looking to become pretty intense, according to previews and teasers.
