Maeda Yuuka graduates from S/mileage

On December 31st, S/mileage’s Maeda Yuuka graduated from the group at their fan club event, “Mega Bank Vol.4“.

Maeda became a Hello! Pro Egg in 2004 and was selected as a member of S/mileage alongside Wada Ayaka, Fukuda Kanon, and Saho Akari. During their indies era, the group released 4 singles, eventually making a major-label debut in 2010 with the single, “Yume Miru 15sai“. S/mileage has released a total of 8 singles and 1 album.

“It doesn’t seem real that I’m graduating. All kinds of things happened, but I can’t believe that today is the end,” she expressed.

At the end of the event, Maeda broke out into tears as fans called out, “Thank you“, “Do your best,” and “Yuuka!“.

Finally, leader Wada sent out a positive message to their fans saying, “From 2012, S/mileage will be a 6-person group, but we want to do our best so that many people will support us. When we’re able to hold a big concert, we want to do our best so that Yuuka-chan will come to watch us.”

Kanon is too good for this group at this point. They are holding her back. She is like the only person that can sing, so you know UP doesn't want to loss her. Sadly, I'll never hear her voice's full potential.

She has the singing and dancing talent to go solo. She also has enough personality, but I don't see her wanting to leave Ayaka.

My perfect egg group! My perfect Yuukarin! *sob* Isn't enough I lost my Sakitty!?

Get it Git it

Heart Yuuka

S/mileage is pretty much dead to me. I will check in on Ayacho and Cinderella, but I don't see myself hardcore following them anymore. 2nd Gen is not working it for me.

"selected as a member of S/mileage alongside Wada Ayaka, Fukuda Kanon, and Saho Akari"
this is wrong. Ogawa Saki was selected for S/mileage.

H!P is just so blah these days, she knows this, and is getting out before it goes completely down the toilet.

My support for S/mileage won't waver just because of this. I know Yuuka would want to see them be successful one day just as how she hopes to be in her own chosen path. Good luck to everyone and I wouldn't mind a comeback/reunion in the near future.

This is sad, i really like her!!! She should just join AKB and become the next face of the group, Maeda 2.0

Kanon!!

Don't go too okay!~

Well, if she do have plan to leave the group then might as well go solo or join AKB LOL!

All of my groups are suffering this year.

Also, LOL at everyone wishing for two of the girls with actual talent to leave simply because they aren't "cute enough", then bitch and complain about needing talent.

wat.

first sakitty, now yuuka... seriously, who's gonna be next? kanyon? hm...
to me, this group is near to dying or maybe IS already dying. I'm losing two of my favorite members... maybe I'm gonna scratch s/mileage off my fandom list like right now..
