Sashihara Rino will debut as a soloist in March

Sashihara Rino (19), one of the most popular members of AKB48 is going to be the newest member in have her solo debut with a single scheduled to be released on spring.

The news about Sashihara's debut single were announced on Sunday during AKB48′s handshake event, surprising the public and even Sashihara herself.
Said single is currently untitled and will be the theme song for the upcoming dorama "Muse no Kagami", which will feature Sashihara on her first starring role as an actress. The label in charge of release the single will be avex trax.

Sashihara Rino is one of the most popular AKB48 members, being ranked on 9th place on the most recent Senbatsu elections of 2011, and is also part of the sub-unit Not Yet along fellow members Oshima Yuko, Yokoyama Yui and Kitahara Rie.

She's one of the few members chosen to debut as solo artists of the group: the others had been Maeda Atsuko, Itano Tomomi, Iwasa Misaki and Watanabe Mayu.

I adore her because she's hilarious, but seriously...a single? I'm not sure if I want, but well...do your best!
