Popular vocal and dance group, EXILE once again achieved the no.1 spot for the second consecutive week with "EXILE JAPAN/Solo." The last time they achieved this was three years and nine months ago with "EXILE CATCHY BEST" (the album ended up selling 1,287,955 copies in total).
In the singles chart, Johnnys trio, NYC have topped the chart with "Wonderful Cupid/Garasu no Mahou" in its second week, jumping from the 4th spot last week. "Wonderful Cupid" is the theme song to NTV's Sukkiri!! starting January, while NYC member, Nakayama Yuma's solo song, "Garasu no Mahou" was performed by Nakayama himself in the stage musical "PLAYZONE '11 SONG & DANCN'" last year, re-arranged for the single.
