Are they or aren’t they? Actually, it’s pretty much confirmed that Ninomiya Kazunari and Sasaki Nozomi have broken up (good luck trying to get an official statement out of their agencies since they’re just “good friends.”)
Can their breakup be blamed on anyone? Well, how about Hannya’s Kawashima Akiyoshi (umm… he’s the fatter one.) Nino’s been prioritizing his time with Kawashima instead of Nozomi. But the root of their breakup can probably be blamed on his management.
Ever since their relationship was brought to light last May, fans and management have been incensed by such rumors. (Remember the crazies that sent that petition to his management demanding he break up with her?) Well, Nino is pretty compliant when it comes to his agency’s demands, unlike a certain Akanishi. So after they’ve warned him not to meet up with her, he’s been putting distance between the two.
Nozomi felt very insecure because Nino wasn’t doing much to maintain their relationship. Everytime she texted or called him about meeting up, he’d tell her that he’s too busy hanging out with Kawashima. Apparently Kawashima makes friends easily, unlike his partner, Kanada Satoshi (the one with the mole.)
Nino and Kawashima became good friends through the Fuji television show, VS Arashi. They’re so closed that Kawashima even talked about hanging out with Nino on his internet show. Nozomi is set to cohost a new show with Hannya’s seniors, Ame-agari Kesshitai, starting April. If Kawashima goes on the show, how will she react?
Rumors of the couple’s breakup has been floating around since the end of last year. Nino loves hanging around comedians, and he is often seen at their shows and gatherings. Nozomi, on the other hand, loathes comedians. So it seems his fans can rest assured knowing that Nozomi is no longer part of his life.
