Adapted from the Korean drama "Dream High", the first Japanese installation is a musical. Along with Matsushita Yuya, Nanaka from BRIGHT and Mizuta Kouki (Oshitari Kenya in TeniMyu) will be joining in the musical as well. The musical is set for July, and will be directed and choreographed by Masuda Tetsuharu - the choreographer behind AKB48's "Beginner" and SMAP's "Sotto Kyutto" PVs (he did some other bunch of music videos too).

Yuya will play the character Song Sam Dong. While Nanaka (BRIGHT) will play as Ko Hemi (Go Hyemi).
Yuya's comment on his role is: "Since I was 6 y.o,I wanted to be a singer. I spent Junior High School with singing and dancing everyday, even when I'm not in a (school) club. Then I went to the same music school as Nanaka (BRIGHT). Therefore I can relate with the character, who has the same passion to pursue his dream as an artist. I will do my best in this role, to fulfill the hopes and dreams of many people who love the story."
"Dream High" musical adaptation will be performed on New National Theatre, July 3rd, 2012. Ticket will be on sale starting on May 27th. For more info, check out the official website: http://www.musical-dreamhigh.jp/
