Kumi to make her comeback in November with a tour

   

Koda Kumi will be making her comeback after giving birth in November with a live tour that will visit 4 cities and have 7 dates starting November 7, her birthday. Including the prestigious Budokan, in which Kuu has often voiced a desire to perform in. The set list will be decided by fans voting, restricted to paying fanclub members.Tickets go on sale in June.

Don't know whereabouts you are, but where I am women can take 8-9 months to a year of maternity leave. So this can look a little odd to some of us. And tbh, I don't understand really why a new mom would want to go back to work that early, especially someone like her who could afford to take time. My sis took a job as building managers shortly after my nephew was born (spontaneous sudden offer and unusual circumstances) and she regretted all the time she didn't get to spend with him because of work and not being able to keep him with her. Besides, 5 months is where they really start getting fun!

I think for many it just feels really sudden, even though there's a significant time gap between the tour and her delivery date. I don't think though we can quite compare someone like Kumi to the average working woman in terms, for a lot of them going back to work early isn't a matter of choice really. And daycare is more expensive the younger the child. I'm willing to believe that she's 100% comfortable with the choice, doesn't make her a bad mom to head back on tour. Just feels...rushed, for some reason.

This is GREAT. I was really scared she'd disappear after having a baby. Hell no, she has to stay forever! <3

I wonder if she will tone her sexy image down a little though in the years to come?
