As we all know, AKB48’s 4th General Election will be held on June 6th at Nippon Budokan. The top 64 girls will be divided into 4 groups, ‘27th Single Senbatsu Members’, ‘Under Girls’, ‘Next Girls’, and ‘Future Girls’, with 16 members in each respective group. They will be in charge of the title and coupling tracks for the group’s 27th single.
On May 31st, it was revealed that AKB48’s 27th single will be used by several different companies, and the girls will be starring in their TV CMs. The ‘27th Single Senbatsu Members’ (girls ranked #1-#27) have earned tie in’s with ‘NTT Purara Hikari TV‘, ‘UHA Mikakuto Puccho‘, and ‘Apamanshop‘, and will be featured in their CMs. Meanwhile, the ‘Under Girls’ (#17-#32) will star in CMs for ‘Seven Net Shopping‘.
As for the ‘Next Girls’ (#33-#48), they will be appearing in the CM for ‘JOYSOUND‘, and their solo gravia pictures will be featured in the magazine, ‘FRIDAY‘. The CM tie-in with ‘Future Girls’ (#49-#64) is still undecided, but they will also appear in the magazine, ‘Gekkan SPA!‘.
“To give an opportunity to the members with hidden potentials,“ Kondansha, Shueisha, and Sankei Newspaper have decided to feature every girl who ranked below #65 in their magazines. Each member is said to receive more than 1 full-colored page.

- Tie-up publication at magazine Nikkan SPA! and solo gravure
65th ~ 237th:
- All 137 members gets more than 1 color page solo gravure in each affiliated magazine like:
- FRIDAY (32 names)
- Weekly Playboy (16 names)
- FLASH (10 names)
- Weekly Young Magazine (8 names)
- etc.
