Johnny’s original production “Johnny’s World” will begin its run this Nov. 10th at Imperial Theater in Tokyo. A press conference and announcement was held yesterday at Metropolitan, Tokyo where members of Hey! Say! JUMP, Sexy Zone and A.B.C-Z attended.
The said show is Johnny’s Entertainment President, Johnny Kitagawa, way of celebrating as a record holder in “Guinness Book of World Records” for “most concert produced” and “most no. 1 singles produced“. It was only last year when Kitagawa was awarded by Guinness on the same stage where the play will happen.
The press interview were attended by Hey!Say!JUMP‘s Yamada Ryosuke, Chinen Yuri, Yaotome Hikaru and Yabu Kota. Sexy Zone’s Nakajima Kento and Sato Shori. Lastly, A.B.C-Z‘s Hashimoto Ryosuke, Totsuka Shota, and Kawai Fumito.
“I’d like to devote myself to this so I won’t shame my senior’s names,” Yamada Ryosuke commented. “Even though this is a culmination of Johnny’s talents, I would also like to show how much we [as ourselves] have evolved,” Yaotome Hikaru added.
Sato Shiori, the youngest from the attendants, was very enthusiastic about the play, “Everything has been a challenge for us during our first time, but now we want to do something that everyone hasn’t done yet,” he said.
Doing guest appearance are KinKi Kids‘ Koichi Domoto, KAT-TUN‘s Kamenashi Kazuya, and Hideaki Takizawa, who will act as “chairperson” as he has experienced performing at Imperial Theater. Reporters asked if they have anything to say to their senpais that will act as guest, Fumito Kawai have a message for Takizawa, “Takizawa-kun, I want to know how can I exude such an aura, I’ll ask you from here since even if I call you, you don’t answer (the phone) so easily.”
Johnny’s World will start its run on Nov 10th at Imperial Theater.
