Indonesia‘s former 1st Lady and Japanese socialite Dewi Sukarno (born as Naoko Nemoto and adopted the name Ratna Sari Dewi Soekarno after she married former Indonesian President) blogged about watching “Dream Boys” at Imperial Theater.
Dewi, who once guested in an episode of Cartoon KAT-TUN (ep. 72) and even played Mountain Line with Nakamaru while wearing a dress befitting for Marie Antoinette, must have felt an affinity for KAT-TUN for watching Dream Boys. After all, I think that socialites would rather see Noriyuki Higashiyama‘s “Kings Speech” than Dream Boys.
Anyway, this is what she has to say:
[Miracle] [Kame Gyou] Astonishing “DREAM BOYS!” A must-see Performance!
I have seen DREAM BOYS musical the other day at Imperial Theater in Yurakucho in Tokyo. It stars KAT-TUN’s Kamenashi Kazuya-san whom I appreciate.
The actions in this musical is truly a superhuman feat!
A lot of fans shed tears from too much emotion.
Kamenashi-san can be seen floating in the ceiling’s theater.
Multi-colored laser lights penetrated the beautiful stage.
It’s gorgeous lights seem to dance within our eyes.
The Chinese Acrobatic Troupe make them master the art of acrobatics. They bungee jump like flying from a swing, rotates accurately, and pull themselves back to top again.
Their fingers grasped the swing’s string as their legs kicked when they fly and jump [fall] with their bodies perfecting the angle and speed.
I can’t recall how many times I held my breath as they repeated the stunt, I think that they can outshine the Cirque de Soleil .
They sing songs enthusiastically and have cool dance moves. There are beautiful technical dance moves as well.
AKB48 fans, please see Dream Boys at Imperial Theater. If you see DREAM BOYS, perhaps you’ll get hooked, don’t you agree?
This wonderful play was seen by 1800 people in one show, 3600 people in 2 shows for a day. What a shame that it would only run for one month.
The special seats are for those who are member of Johnny’s fan clubs, but there are also for those who got in via lottery. TV Pia reported that seats sold-out immediately.
